Love, Carmen Christina and Lizzy Billy's Song by Chuck Loeb, performed by Pat Metheny Golden Heart by Chuck Loeb Bells by Chuck Loeb Contigo Aprendi by Carmen Cuesta
Nathan East - it's is my hope you produce something of you Bob, and Harvey - with Mr Loeb. We come this way once and if we can delight a world so much in pain as you guys have then you are blessed - so Mr East bless us so Thant we may remember a soul such as Charles Loeb
I am so glad that I saw you and Chuck and Bob and Harvey performing in 2015, I was quite in a trouble but I couldn't ever miss that concert for the life of me, and I didn't - and so that will be the only time i could see the four of you together, but there's been that one time and this proves again that nothing is granted on this earth, every day is unique and worth living and every occasion must not be missed in order not to be regretted. I look forward to see Fourplay again the next time you'll come to Italy. Peace and Love.
Heart warming. Had the honour off performing with Chuck in the mid 90's. I was drumming with Nelson Rangel with Mel Brown on bass. It was a highlight of my life. I hope to play with him again in heaven. I remember he pulled me off stage and had me play brushes on a newspaper at a table for some folks at the club. We connected musically him and I. He was smiling at me while we did this jazz standard, him on guitar and me on a news paper with brushes. Tearing up thinking about it. Thanks Chuck. Nelson told me he was happy with me backing him up. Positive feelings from Chuck makes me happy even after all this time. God bless Cuck and his family. Peace to all. William Tell Pinner III
Just found out he passed back in 2017. Married life and kids stopped me from keeping up with jazz as a whole for 15 years. Big fan and watched him in concert in Boston at scullers jazz club. Signed 2 of his albums I had bought. Rest easy Chuck 🙏 a true gem 💎 🫶🏾👊🏾🎼🎶🎺
RIP Chuck Loeb - thank you for sharing your musical talent and music to the world - like us in South Africa. My personal favourite song - The Music Inside is an all time classic. Our condolences to his family - let your tunes reside 'inside' those who appreciate good music -love from RSA.
Carmen, Christina and Lizzy, I'm so grateful for the gift of knowing Chuck. What a treasure. He made the world more beautiful with his music and his heart. Thank you for sharing him with us. Much love to you.
My heart cried when I realize he had passed, but he left an amazing legacy of beautiful music that no other guitarist could give the softness of his style . Why does such genius are not appreciated and given their true praise until they are no longer here among us . Rest
What a beautiful soul what kind of a person does it take to make such beautiful notes over and over and over again and you never get tired of listening to the beauty that came out of that man
I'm trying to hold back the tears......complete failure. Wish I could be there to personally thank you, Carmen, Christina and Lizzy, for opening a visual door to the intimate family moments you have showed us fans of Chuck, and witness all the love that made his life much more transcendent. The world lost a great, one-of-a-kind musician, a loving husband and father, and a humble and incredibly good human being. His life is to be celebrated by those of us who admired him, and his departure from this world leaves us wishing we could attend his great gig in heaven. He will be missed.
Beauty is what Chuck toiled at and it's clear that beauty is what he left behind on this plane. Sorely missed and deeply cherished. Thank you Carmen, Christina and Lizzy.
I have been listening to him since i was 16 years old and i am 38. I own every album that he put out. Straight A's the song on one of his albums he made in 1991 changed my life. I will listen to your music when I am sad and I wil listen when I am happy. RIP to the best smooth jazz player that ever did it. I love you Chuck! You will ALWAYS be the best! I will never stop listening to you!!
It's been a few days since I discover all the beatiful CD that Chuck made in his career...To me before Chuck was just one of the members of Fourplay ..I listen to quite a few Jazz artists...and ...it was such a pleasure to hear in just 1 day of 5-6 whole albums made by Chuck !...Since the first note..many emotions...his music captured me straight away.... I know that Chuck left us just about 1 year ago...It was also so nice and heartbreaking to discover this video shared on Ytube by his wife Carmen & Chris and Lizzy....So.......emotional to see how they shared in public such intimate moments of their lives...Nothing much to add....JUst thanks to Chuck and his beautiful life and family...for all the music he made and left us....Music sometimes can mean little or so much for many people around the world....thanks again ..evrybody.....keep best music in your hearts...and meet y someday somewhere...AGAIN.....! Rocco from Napoli , Italy
Chuck your music brought me into a world of tranquility and the meaning of love for humanity and God. When I listen to your guitar I'm at peace with myself and the world even with the everyday turmoil and chaos that plagues mankind. Thank you for these special moments that I cherish the most.
Really a beautiful video to remember the great Chuck Loeb fill my eyes with tears to see so many beautiful images master will always live in each of your songs
Great composer, musician, collaborator. One of the most productive and hard working musicians, with truly “Music Inside”. Above all great human being and family man. So yearly and so unfair. God bless your soul Mr. Chuck Loeb!
I am so grateful for having the blessing of getting to meet and talk to you at the Birchmere in Virginia after your first show with Fourplay! I love your smile and reaction to my telling you the story of my wife and I driving somewhere and hearing the new release of Fourplay and as the song starts, I look at my wife and say "that's Chuck Loeb on guitar!". And you know what, it was! How I miss hearing you play, whether standards or smooth jazz. You were always such an inspiration to me, even as a bassist. Even now, when I want to be inspired by a true master, I click on one of your songs, close my eyes and smile. RIP Chuck. You will always be missed.

3yrs back, for the first time I heard Chuck's album with Eric Marianthal and just got sucked into the passion of Chuck's playing, and only to find out that he had passed on. The grief has never left me. But there's such beauty in revisiting the grief. Thanks for sharing this....
That was beautiful. Carmen,I am so sorry for your loss.Loved your musical collaborations and miss them. You were both blessed to have found each other.
I had the pleasure of meeting Chuck @ Soiled Dove Underground Denver like 2010-11?? with Eric Marienthal and Earl Klugh... he seen the sheer excitement in my face and said "Thanks for coming"...I said "Ya.....Forever Remembered......
Back in the 90s my dad got me hooked on contemporary jazz. The staples of my collection were fourplay, Russ freeman and the rippingtons, and Chuck Loeb among others. One night, in the early 00s, after a benefit concert, my dad got to sit and have cocktail and bs with Chuck Loeb. My dad said, they talked about many things one of which was my college radio show. ( I was the only kid doing a Smooth jazz show.) My dad said Chuck was intrigued by this and signed a copy of "in a heartbeat" with a note wishing me well with my radio show. I was over the moon to receive it. My dad told me about what a great guy he was. Rip Chuck Loeb. You touched so many with your music.
I studied with Chuck for two years at ArtistWorks. I never met him face to face but the videos he exchanged with me are treasured memories. He was a beautiful exponent of the guitar; a gifted teacher with a flawless technique. What I remember most though, was the courtesy and respect he afforded his pupils, revealing a true generosity of spirit. I'm not in the least embarrassed to say I cried when we lost him. It came as a shock as I was not aware he was ill. To put it as simply and as humbly as I can, I liked the world much better when Chuck Loeb was in it.
I come back to this every so often to remember Chuck (this makes me tear up a little each time). Sadly I only discovered him with Fourplay, so really Thank you for this!!!
So Chuck Loeb has gone with his guitar to a more better place to rest.I recall some time back hearing his familiar tune always played on Utube I was compelled to comment on he's pretty good and Chuck was, no sorry Chuck you are among the best .Any time an artist of music get that call their talent is needed elsewhere its nothing I can do but wait my turn to get to see them again but until then I 'll settle with their music they left us with. Chuck Loeb r.i.p.
I was so fortunate to see Chuck in Boston in 2003/2004 and what a show it was. He was so in sync with his band and I walked away feeling so damn good. God bless his family and thank you for allowing him to follow his dream.

I have been quite familiar with musical artists like Chuch Loeb for a long time. As I approach my 65 birthday, I have become even more familiar with musical artists like Chuck Loeb. The sad part is that I did not follow these musicians more closely before their passing as I do now. This is true with guitarists like Jeff Beck, who I started following in the 80's. There are many other musicians who have passed who have left an incredible legacy. I only hope there are other people out there that enjoy their music as I continue to do. This video is an incredible tribute to Chuck and his family. Thank you for the music Chuck!

I have been deeply affected by the loss of this man... more than I can explain. We are not personal friends, although I admired his talent greatly and felt that we could have been very easily. We never crossed paths musically, though I would have loved to play with and learn from this man over the many years we shared in common. My deepest sympathies for his wife and children and my heartfelt thanks for this wonderful tribute to a man who, by all indications, was taken much to early!
When my career was just starting I had the pleasure of working with Chuck at 39th street music doing jingles, he was a breath of fresh air, a real gentleman and a great talent. It's so sad when the good ones go, my heart and prayers go out to the family.
What a touching tribute to one of the greatest musicians of our time! Thank you for sharing the pictures of Chuck thru the years with family and friends. 💕🎶
