I got a grand Cherokee 04 I want to add some 20" on it as well but I need spacers since the rims didn't match the lug pattern on mine , did I get to add spacers? If so which ones u went with
Hey do you have any sort of lift kit or leveling kit? I have the same rims and tire size, I was worried about rubbing when turning the front wheels with spacers
@@DerikBouffard okay kool thanks. And did you put thread lock on any of the bolts? I didnt watch the whole video. If you didn’t, do you suggest I use some and if so, should I apply it to the actual rotor threads or the threads on the actual spacers?
@@JimmyS1981 I didn't put anything on the studs. Just torque the spacer to spec like you torque the wheels. I know some People add either anti-seize or thread lock but I don't. I remove these spacers every year, so I want to keep it easy to remove. That's also why I add white grease between the rotor and the spacer.
@@DerikBouffard thanks ! You know what would be helpful !!?? If you can post a video on how to apply torque specs. I don’t know anything about it or what the torque numbers “mean”
I didn't have to. You only have to shorten your studs with certain style of wheels. For me the 1'' spacers fitted on my 18'' wheels but not on my 20''.
@DerikBouffard I have bought a set of 1" spacers for my WKII JGC, but I have 20" wheels, will they not fit? Plus no one locally wants to fit them. They say they are too dangerous. I want them on but worry they will fail, is this likely? Thanks in advance
hey man, that looks great,is there any vibratiom on highway?
Thanks ! I've read about this too, but it's been over a year now and I didn't notice any vibration at any speed.
LOVE the fit. But I don't want to have to trim down the threads like you said :/ (I got 20" wheels on mine). Choices choices choices

I have 1 inch spacers from wk. will they fit on wk2?

Yes, I have a set of airlinks leveling kit installed on the front. These tires have not rub with the spacer and the leveling kit.
Hey was wondering does the trail terrain 265/65 18 would fit on my laredo stock which has a 265/60 ? Or will it need a lift kit
Hi, I'm confident a 265/65 will fit without a lift kit. I have a leveling kit on my GC but it's for the look not because of a clearance issue.
I have them on my 2020 Laredo. It fits fine without any lift.
3/4 front n 1" rear it's perfect
What's the white stuff he sprayed on ?
@@markreacts5764 anti seize most likely

Hey man what did you spray on the rotor before you put the spacers on ?
@@JimmyS1981 it's white grease.

I didn't see you cut the stud on the wheel you installed in video🤷♂️🤔

Have you tried 275s?
@@alejandromartinez7368 no, I'm still on the same tire.
What's the tourqe for the bolts?
I torqued all of them at 105 ft-lbs
130 for the grand cherokee non srt, 110 for srt. 100 is a general rule of thumb that always works though so 105 should be great
