Question my 12.7 1999 and 2005, the rods will not slide through the bores, how do you think i should go about this, put the piston in the liner then set the liner in the block, crazy, I've never worked on a engine that wasn't serviceable

You have to pull the pistons and liners together on the newer ones.
Is the piston directional or can it be installed to the rod either way?
If there are no markings on it or the cooling nozzle holes only on 1 side then yes they can go in either way.
Are u suppose to lube the threads?
Always
Setting rod caps at different torques is not what a professional does. There was enough oil that there was no need for additional torque.
