LURE Fishing FOR POLLOCK: How to Catch These Massive Fish |sea fishing uk|

- i went out from eastbourne east sussex in my parker poilothouse boat on a deep sea wrecking trip.
i went to a wreck i've known about for years this wreck is not on any modern relief chart or listed on the wreck sites its just a small wreck that will either be loaded with fish or have none.
so i set out at 6.30am from sovereign harbor on a cold morning crossing over the busy shipping lane and beyond.at 8.30am i was there and hoping to smash a few pollock or have a complete blank but as you know with all of my video's on manic fishing what happens on the day is what you are seeing.

A very good fishing 🎣 video some real big old lumps being caught interesting the weight of the lead to fish in the tide Mark when said your mate is trying out his new propeller always make sure the spacer goes on the propeller because sometimes the spacer is stuck to the old propeller that has been taken off and when the new propeller is put on you can forget to put the spacer on before the propeller and you can cause a lot of damage very important to learn these simple mistakes thanks mark wicked fishing keep it up from ben 👌👍
Thanks for watching and commenting. I appreciate that.🙏🎣

Nice video mate! Lovely fish there
Now that's what you call a days fishing... As I've mentioned before, I've only been lure fishing around 2 years mainly off the shore but recently off a boat, I dream of catching huge fish like these, hopefully over this winter I'll hook into a few of these monsters, weather permitting. Finding your videos great to watch and ideas to try.
Thank you so much for the comment like I say in a few weeks, the fish will be even bigger so keep tuned to the channel and tell a friend please 🙏🎣
Great video Mark and thanks again for the hats. Best wishes cliff.

Enjoyed this video. Am hoping to do more.lure fishing this season but no idea where to start as so many lures and setups. Any advice for some lightweight lure drifting over a small reef off littlehampton?
Great video really enjoyed watching , can i ask where you got your yellow tackle box from ? or do you have a link
I was given it when I fished the sea angling Classic for LOWRANCE everybody got one who entered
Brilliant Video the best out there !! How about Brave soul fishing ?
Thank you so much. I really appreciate the comment. I’m hoping to have a few more trips on the Pollock in the next few weeks weather permitting
Amazing day.
In the set up with a weight, does your lure also have a weighted head, or is it just a soft plastic?
Thanks.
Ah, I have just seen another video of yours where you explain the rig set up. Perfect, thanks.
I have a light leadhead on I think in that video and the sidewinders are also weighted
It'd be good to see them go back, makes for a really enjoyable video, see Mr Locker etc.
Thanks for a good video. Just getting in to wreck fishing for pollock so wondering if there is any particular time of tide / weather conditions you prefer to fish for Pollock ? Please can you also let me know what rod are you using as it looks like it has a good action to it ? many thanks Bob
I prefer a bigger tide for pollock they seem to like the fast run of water. I don’t think it matters ebb or flood tide but some wrecks fish better on either tide thanks for watching and for your comment I really appreciate that.
I was using a Kanzaki 12/20 rod for most parts of that video but I usually use my Tenyru bulldog lure rod whenever it’s possible
@@ManicFishing Many thanks for your reply and info. Will certainly look at the Kanzaki 12/20 rods. Cheers Bob
@@ManicFishing Thanks for that and will hopefully get out next week to try fishing a spring tide to see if that changes our luck. Thanks and look forward to the next video. Bob
It was worth going out that far 👍
Yeah definitely but like I said I could’ve had a complete blank it was a gamble. Thanks for your comment and thanks for watching 🙏
No need to use booms brother. No swivels, 6' rod. Penn fathom 8, or Trinidad 12A reel, 30 lb braid, fluorocarbon trace and a 150 gram jig. Work it bro. And if you wind with your right hand, the rod is under your left arm. Just saying
I think we all have our own ways to fish bar might give that one a try one day, but at the minute on this seems to work okay for me. Thanks for your comment anyway Tide Lines my friend 🙏🎣
I don't want to see them go back. Any chance of a catch and cook.
I do keep a fish if they are wanted but not often unless my mum wants one
no point in not taking the odd fish home tocatch cook n eat
No I agree with you mate I don’t eat fish though
Youve got some pollocks to go out that far and deep in this weather, I know you know what your doing, but for fs STAY SAFE mate great video, new sub.pete brighton 👍🎣⚓
