- Today I'm showing how I make my super secret world famous monkey bubblers. So sit down, strap in, I promise not to be boring. Have had quite a few people on the ole Facebook groups ask me how they're made, so I figured I'd show the whole world. Today we are throwing these out of CKK6 porcelain from Seattle Pottery Supply. You didnt cut a hole for the spout, how do you use it?
For the mouth piece? It's a hollow stem open on each end
you only glaze the outside?
Yep, only the outside, no use to glaze the inside
@@LiamBesaw I accidentally glazed the inside of one. Don’t try it, didn’t work out. Just hardened like icing and plugged the thing up :(
@Erroll Soltice aww, sorry to hear that. You can get 3mm diamond drill bits to try to open the hole, but I find it much easier to start a new one.
I glazed the inside of mine and they were fine. My thought was it would be easier to clean? I just made sure to add a good amount of water in the down stem before glazing so it wouldn’t cake on 😬
