Their songs are actually pretty meaningful. Viking was about how brother nations killing each other and how its wrong (and you know what is this related too).
Ok, but can we talk about the almost Velociraptor growl towards the beginning around 1 minute. He sounds like a demon trying to purr, and I love it! So unique! Idk if i should run away or towrds that sound. ❤😂

my favourite part is actually 2:06 and the following like 4 seconds. Never heard someone growl like that before, ever. It sounds as if he's gurgling up blood, fits the song so incredibly well!
It's really like the evolution of what Slipknot created on their self-titled and Iowa. Slipknot themselves veered away from it right afterwards, but the sound crops up here and there, and some bands hold onto it stronger than others. Slaughter to Prevail in the last few years just took it and grew it and modernized it. That's the best way I could describe their sound. Like a modernized version of what Slipknot was doing 20+ years ago.
Saw the live on the US tour last Friday in Atlanta. This wins heaviest song of the year easily for me especially with seeing the crowds react to this live. Alex and the band are absolutely killing it right now
he has a video where he was just talking about his DOOM-inspired song, and he talks calmy, and it goes from 0 to 100 when he starts doing the vocals for the song
This song gives me a old school Slipknot Vibe. Mainly with the guitar work and such. Slaughter to Prevail quickly became one of my favorites over time. And it’s cool seeing them bringing in the sounds we know and love while also bring their own original just madness and awesomeness to it!
Words at the beginning: "you understand only the language of the sword, well, so blood will be shed. so there will be blood. My tongue will become boneless to speak. to speak"
They did play it live the first of the two times I saw them this year. Pretty sure the PIT sign in the video was from the show I was at lol. Such a brutal song! I love it! 🖤🤘
@@alcottrell2527 my friend actually found my group in that part which would put that sign in Harrisburg. I’m sure plenty of their concerts have one though lol

I had to look hard in slow mo but my buddy and I are in this music video! We saw them in Knoxville and I spotted us once near the pit early on, once in the pit, and once during the two sides running at each other haha, it was blast man!! Highly recommend seeing them live

I have seen so many videos of this song live and it f*ckin SLAYS dude! They way they build it up with the chanting, before Alex starts the first vocals and then everything comes in and hits you like a freight train. 🤪💫 Probably the best song STP has written yet.
Alex could straight up roar at a grizzly, and that bear would run like a scared puppy. I'm speechless, considering I tried making those noises myself, and now I think I need vocal reconstruction surgery. You guys are the GOAT ❤❤❤
It was amazing dude. Especially Alex doing the portion near the end without a microphone. When the crowd doesn't know what to scream, it's an amazing experience
That predator alien fucked up growl is definitely my favorite A.Terrible vocal sound of all songs period!! I watched them perform this live last month and holy shit I can't explain that feeling, I'll never forget how insane the crowd went. Might be my favorite song now.
Ya know, Max0r said something in his DOOM Eternal review that fits perfectly with StP effect: 'It have so much male hormones it could transition someone'. This song can be easily the un-official anthem for all the Viking descendants. It have everything that can make any metalhead happy: sick riffage, awesome drumage and insane growlage. Loved your reaction, dude. It made my day.
Vikings was bad ass!! I agree it has a similar vibe to Demolisher, however more primal. Keep up the fantastic music!! @AlexTerrible and all of Slaughter to Prevail 🤘😈
