I actually enjoy that version much more because of how prominently you can hear his vocals. I feel like the studio version mixed them down a little too much but who the hell am I to say.
I like how they mixed in the clips of them having fun with the fans as a contrast to the intensity of both the song and how they perform. These guys crush it live and are right up there with Jinjer as 2 of the best live bands I've seen.
The one take cover he did is wild too. I saw them perform this live as well in Toronto. It was worth traveling to see them. His live vocals are insanely good. Never took my eyes off the stage, I was just in awe the entire time and the crowd wanted one more song and they played one more song.
Alex is one of those dudes where as a fan and musician I'm in awe of his talent. I'm also as a human terrified of him but also know that he's gotta be the chillest dude ever.
