I have a 2010. Had the Hemi tick 2 yrs ago. Proud that i was able to DIY the work and its been strong. But ive had so many smaller issues since. Enjoying your videos. Good stuff
Thank you brother
I've got an 09. Same thing did the cam and lifters and everything 1-2 years ago. Same issues here, just small things here and there. Of course now ac is giving me problems...

Dios te bendiga compadre
Looks like an easy day job hoping this is the cause of mine.
Couple of hours that's about it
What kind of freon did you use? Is your AC freezing cold? Mine is
Cheap Walmart freon
@@autoguydiy4244 I used Arctic Freeze freon and my AC is freezing cold. I get 40 degree air on a 105 degree day in the summers.
Man thats what's up big dog. Sound like a winner to me
Do i need to empty the refrigerant out of the lines before i do this?
Yes
How do you empty the lines? I gotta do one of these and i don't want to mess it up.
That's what's up blowing cold
Freezing
My system has no Freon do I still have to get the system evacuated or can I just install the new ac compressor and then get it evacuated and recharge the reason being is because my pulley is stuck so I can’t move the truck and I don’t have money to tow it I just want to know so I don’t damage anything
If the ac is empty then yes just change it out
@@autoguydiy4244alright thanks man where do I add the ac oil do I add it where I have to change the stud or the one where you don’t have to move the stud?
@wrizzi7703 make sure to get a compressor that is pre filled with oil
@@autoguydiy4244alright yeah and where do I add the oil and after I install the compressor I have to get it recharge too right
I’m doing this job because my pulley got stuck my truck has 260k miles so I don’t blame it the pulley was wobbling so it finally got stuck now it’s time to replace
how on gods earth did you get the back bolt off?
tried wd 40 and that didn’t work
Have you tried pb blaster
You need a pentrating oil. Especially if your dealing with rust
@@autoguydiy4244just bought some. gonna go back and try it. also got a breaker bar too lmao. doubt it’ll get in there tho
@@autoguydiy4244pb blaster worked… but my last bolt broke off inside. throwing away the whole truck now
I just topped off my ac, luckily my compressor still working, they're expensive
