Way to go both of you. So many ways you can leverage your platform and you chose to open up about your challenges, your path, and to try to help other people.

This was a great discussion. Would even say wish that guys would have this as part of their military training. Seems men tend to struggle more on finding ways to have these type of serious discussions without turning on the “bro mode.” When in fact they seriously need to hear this type of talk and face the challenges they’re going through. Thanks for sharing.

Kyle is perfection as Mike Franks. Austin is too stiff, gives no way he's Gibbs performance. Austin needs to adopt Mark Harmon's mannerisms & facial expressions.

I definitely agree that no one else could have played Franks and Kyle is so good in the role.
I wholeheartedly disagree about Austin, he is playing Gibbs 10 years before the pilot and your mannerisms change drastically as you age and evolve and him in the Origins is coming in at bottom of the food chain being a probie so he definitely would carry himself differently being the man in charge and 10 years older for the pilot in 2003.
I think that’s the beauty in being an actor and watching them shine, different people watch and think differently. He plays the vulnerability and somewhat brokenness of Gibbs to perfection by bringing in his own heartbreak and pulling from it. And hopefully he is able to not take that weight home.
Definitely one of the best acted prequels I have ever seen and can’t wait for more each week.
And love Kyle is getting deeper with this podcast.
