I have an SGC 8 Topps Patrick Roy and a PSA 8 O-Pee-Chee Patrick Roy. The O-Pee-Chee card is worth a lot more.
That's for Sure. They Made far less of those OPC compared to Topps. I still have most of this box left. I think I'm going to open a Few more for a Video. Hopefully seeing a the Set is Pretty Small, We will get Lucky again!!

Get an exacto knife, slit the top corner of the sleeve just a lil bit.... to avoid card dings!
I know this video is 2 yrs old, but I really enjoyed it. Being from Canada I pulled an O Pee Chee back in 86. I found a way to insert the cards in a sleeve without damaging anything. Find or cut 2 pieces of paper, put them in the sleeve, one higher than the other so you can bend one to insert the card. There's enough clearance for the card to slip in. You're welcome. Pass it on! @@215_unearthed8 Nice, Looks like we are about the Same Age. Right now Grading fees are $100 plus all the shipping and insurance and stuff. Might Be better to wait a bit as the Prices will keep coming down according to the PSA Owner.
@@frankspicci9994 ...I do have one cardin my collection that recieved a "grade". It was purchased at garage sale, amongst a plethora of items. The "slab" says its "rc, autographed", is that all the verification needed? Is there any other correspondence sent by "card grade" company? If u reply, I'll tell you what card I found and it's a beauty!

Shame topps did away with bubble gum and wax pack. Opening that combo is where the magic is at
You're Not Wrong!! First thing I would do was open the pack, Put the Gum in my mouth while I was flipping the Card around. Then by the time I got through the Pack, the Gum Lost it's Flavor. It was Perfect Timing!!! LOL.

I've had most of what you see for 10-15 years and ever longer for some.
Maybe thats why it was damaged, pack search slipped it back in
Nice Roy RC, glad you pulled the icon of the 86-87 set, you don't have one in your collection?... I will say, $100+ for 3 packs is a bit steep... Perhaps half of that, but not a bill.... I mean I could buy/win a raw Roy (say that aloud, lol) at auction that could perhaps grade a 8 or 9 which you would expect straight out of a pack for $50-60 bucks so paying $100 for 3 packs doesn't make a whole ton of sense - at least from my perspective.
This is true of virtually all unopened from that time period. In many cases you’d need to pull the best card in the set from every pack to break even.
@@bradutterstrom4105 It depends on what you paid per pack er box... Sometimes it makes no sense, others you cant go wrong - most of the time no - not at standard retail prices for sealed vintage wax...

So what did you end up doing with it ?
I actually still have the Card sitting in a Box for PSA. I was slowly putting an Order together when Covid had the Prices high and was just waiting for them to come down. Since then, The box got pushed back and haven't sent it in yet. I've send many other cards in but not that one yet. I am doing an order now so I will try to did it out. Keep an eye out for a PSA Reveal Video down the Road. I'm sending in Several Submissions now so when they start coming back in 5 months, I should get one Weekly-ish. Fingers Crossed.

You got too many stars in one pack and that's very uncommon sorry dude you stacked the pack true hockey collector knows it
That's fine if you believe that but it was 100% Not Stacked and Authentic but I have a feeling I'm not gonna convince you so I won't try. Thanks for watching though. It's a Pretty Small set as a True Hockey collector like you would know so lots of stars tend to fall in those thick 15 card packs. 😉 198 cards in the set and 43 Hall of Famers, not including the Stars. So 45 cards in these 3 packs is like 25% of the set and that's means with perfect collation about 11 HOF'ers alone should be pulled plus the stars that aren't in the HOF. But again, I'm not trying to convince you because a True Hockey Collector would know that.

I am happy to do that but I usually can't find the cards after the Video is made.....lol. But if you are able to comment soon after it is posted I have a better chance of having it available. I'm a full time dealer and a lot of the time these cards go right from the video to my sorting table and into there respected boxes for the shows.
