OMG!! I can not believe I am just now seeing this. I watch all Lost reactions and will definitely check out your Patreon.
Also please ignore the stuff about the ending. It’s widely referenced online as being bad for an incorrect reason. I love the ending and know many who do as well!
Some people dislike it even while understanding it and that’s ok, but a large amount of people dislike it because they didn’t understand it and walked away believing something false.

I agree! I LOVE the ending of Lost. In fact, I love the last few seasons of Lost, which a lot of people seem to like to hate on for some reason.

You should also react to Desperate Housewives too. That show along with Grey's Anatomy, and Lost all became instant hit shows overnight between the 2004-2005 years. all three shows won Emmy and Golden Globe awards.

SO happy to hear you say the cast is awesome (it is!). If you are already liking the characters you are well on your way to loving this show which I feel is a very character centric show. By focusing on the characters journey's themselves you will really get why it is such a beloved show.

This just came up on my recommended. I’ve just finished watching lost for the 4th time and I’ll never be able to get back the magic of seeing it for the first time and trying to figure out the mysteries.

I remember watching this on TV when it was first airing. Every week it was an event! Everyone was talking about it!
I was absolutely obsessed with lost when I was a kid. Believe it or not I’ve never met anyone else who’s seen it.
I was born in 2000 so when it first aired I was only 4 and i started watching when I was 8( my parents didn’t know cause I’d hide in a closet to watch it) but I immediately got attached to Hurley, Claire, Charlie and lock.
I know a lot of people hate it and maybe I’m biased because I grew up with watching it but I think it’s one of the greatest shows of all time.
Trust me man, Losties are still going on strong, as a longtime fan I've actually met more and more people getting into the show, it seems to be having some mini-revival

The last season I was watching an episode (forgot which one) and I went into labor. I had to finish the episode before we went 😂 I gave up near the end. The pain was not letting me think of anything else.

Fun fact: Jack was supposed to die in this episode but JJ Abrams' wife talked him out of it. Also, I'm pretty sure most episodes are not as shaky as episodes 1&2 (It was a 2 hour premiere so it's all one long episode.)

So excited for your Lost journey! Will echo the people encouraging you to ignore any comments about the ending. I've never seen a show that had so many misconceptions about the meaning of the The End (that title of the last episode). For my part I loved the ending so much I've watched that episode alone 10 times. Obviously to each their own, but there is a large portion of the fandom that absolutely loves the ending.
It's crazy and frustrating, when there's a character that literally spells out a key aspect, and yet so many walked away thinking no, something else!

Oh fun!!! I was OBSESSED with this show while it was on air. The theorizing between episodes was the best part. So many characters that I love (but not Jack I can’t effin stand him)
I was a member of a couple of Lost chatroom groups and, yes, so many theories and guesses. Some were amazingly spot on, but I know the writers were aware of these rooms as well so would throw in a lot of twists to throw us off the scent. I loved the growth of many of these characters but kind of got bored by series end (because they wouldn't wrap up some of the dangling plot lines!!!).
The first thing I saw Ian Somerhalder in aka Damon from The Vampire Diaries.

What happened to Alias? JJ Abrams was creator (co-creator?) of both Alias and Lost, you know. Both with twisty, unexpected story lines.
Have more eps of Alias on Patreon than what’s on here. The views / subs didn’t really hit with the pilot like some other shows. :/

Fair warning, this show is gonna confuse you the whooooole time hahaha
LOST got so much crap but it was actually pretty fun. Just make sure you skip that one episode that explains Jack’s the tattoo because there were so many theories floating around at the height of the show’s popularity that fans thought there was something to his tattoo… that episode is possibly the single worst LOST episode. Other than that… solid show
