Now you know why Locke is smiling and so very happy since they crashed. 😊❤️ Btw, Locke considered that he "told off" Randy because he stood up to him. He didn't just let what he said slide. Oh, and that gorgeous music playing at the end, during the reveal, is Locke's theme song. ♥
The end of this episode is one of my favorite moments in television. Such a well-crafted reveal. It's one of the things that makes Lost one of my favorite shows.
This episode is the hook for a lot of people. Locke is one of my favorite characters and I thought the way they did the big reveal to be very well executed. I also love his theme (music at the end of the ep).
Talk about a perfectly crafted scene. From the reveal that Locke was paralyzed to his catchphrase "Don't tell me what I can't do" and his belief in destiny to the cut of him slowly getting up from the ground as the music builds and builds to the shot of the empty wheelchair. It has everything a huge reveal, emotion. It answers one question "What's up with this dude?" and sets up his journey. It gives me chills every time I see it. It's Lost at his best!
J.J. Abrams didn't write this. He co-created the show, and co-wrote the pilot. Then, basically left. Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse were the head, and best, writers.
@@Eowyn187 You're right. I changed it from "JJ Abrams" to Lost. Besides, it Michael Giacchino's score that gives me the chills. I have a "Lost" playlist on Spotify and to this day, I can listen to it and certain scores still bring me to tears without even watching the episode.
Finally back with the LOST reactions. Hope you continue watching more regularly. You are in for such an incredible experience.

I'm glad you liked this episode. It's one of my favorites. The music is perfect. I love how Mr. Locke is in his own world while everyone around him is freaking out. He told Walt that a miracle happened to him.

This episode is considered the one that hooks you, if you weren't 100% on this show before, this episode is one that will change your mind. I got chills again just watching your reaction. I love seeing the utter confusion on your face from this show lol!
The Don't Tell Me What I Can't Do twist is what really hooked me in this show. That's when I knew this show was special... Hope you enjoy the ride as much as I did watching when it first aired.
OMG. You're watching Lost now? I follow you for Glee but Lost is in my top 3 favorite TV shows of all time! This episode (#4) is what really got me hooked.
