Lol. There are some decisions that feel so wrong even when you are trying on purpose to play a certain way.

1:09:50 lol, yeah it really does seem like you took the Darth Markus route this time. I've never even done a playthrough where I fought back against Leo, so it was interesting to see this part of it.

You can definitely cross the river. If you give the tickets back and DON'T get caught by the cops. It turned out very badly for me though. It's hard to do it unscathed. I think the later in the game you get, the easier it is to get a character killed.
Yeah I think I ended up watching all of them online, and it goes so poorly..... one of the worst outcomes
In my original playthrough I was buddy buddy with Hank, because who wouldn't want to be, but I got a converted Connor killed on the boat. He shows back up on the roof with the sniper rifle except you have to fight Hank! I'm not good at quick time events anyway, but I had to lose that fight on purpose. I couldn't kill Hank AND Marcus
Oh damn yeah, didn't even think about how if Connor turns but then dies, they would just send another machine one........ so many possibilities!
@@samuelbarrett1082 how did you kill Deviant Connor on the boat? Markus and North were both dead? and you suddenly witnessed machine Connor on the roof? that sounds so peculiar...
@@Roozbeh1388 no, everyone was still alive. Well, maybe not Simon. Connor turned deviant and we were all escaping. The last hallway before you jump off the boat gets really hairy. I messed up the inputs while trying to save North and Markus and got shot. Since deviant Connor is now dead, he returned as robot Connor to assassinate Markus after he successfully peacefully protested. Then I was forced to fight Hank on the roof because we were friends and he thought I had changed.
Hanks hidden hope really is that machines do have feelings, because he's disappointed with humanity, he is looking for something greater. This explains why he hates you so much as Connor, if you are acting just like a machine and killing these android-girls, for example. You can also see at 7:23 Hanks expression, when Kamski pointet out to the "You" in Connor. This implies that Kamski actually might think androids do have consciousness and this surprises Hank. Because every other human around him, including to some degree himself, believes that machines are just machines. Hank is a very tragic character, he seem to care about humanity, but everyone he see's around is either egoistical or on red ice, to stand this world.
That was great. I am going to not get long-winded about anything, but I will say the developers did good work making these various plotlines very believable. I agree that it would be way too much effort to play through yet a third time, only to get a couple new bits of gameplay. I will look one or two of them up now. I wonder what is next now that this and Dredge are wrapped up. :o

I also took the revolution route in my first playtrough, but what the president says in the end differs widely from yours. In mine she said, that they as a nation have to accept the androids as a new life form, kinda the same as in your "peace route". But in this here she says there will be a war, either them or us. Maybe my public opinion was a bit higher, or either it was because I free'd the androids with Connor in cyberlife's warehouse.
There's just so many damn variables in this game! it's crazy

Yknow, it's only after finishing that I remembered I was supposed to do that lol.... I do plan on checking them out, not sure if it'll be a video, but we'll see!
@@LukaelPlays I mean it's fine if you don't feel like making a video for it, but I really suggest you do check them out for yourself at least, particularly the videos and the characters section. in the latter of them, you can see the lore for every character in the game and learn more about them (more noticeably not-in-focus characters, like Leo, Carl, etc), and there are also some interesting videos before the events of Detroit.
but still, to each to their own, I'm just suggesting :3
I once got a ending in which Marcus successfully went through with a revolution (alongside Connor), but Kara escaped from the camp and hid herself away, leaving Alice behind
Yeah I saw that Alice can be left behind and DAMN that's rough
Which is everyone's favorite soundtrack? I like all 3 but Kara's is my fave.
Kara's is definitely the most emotional, but I get amped up hearing Connor's theme. Love chasing Rupert with that song cranked
They're all good, but I think I love Connor's songs the best, they're very intense!
I didn't notice that characters had their own soundtracks. When do they play?
@mephistophelicpierogi they play whenever you are controlling that character. It is the background music for the game.
To help give each character their own atmosphere, there were 3 different composers who wrote the music.

I've played through the game twice, plus a couple of chapters more. Yet I'm seeing so many scenes in your run for the first time!
I had no idea Carl could die!! That's wild lol. I pushed Leo in my first playthrough (peaceful run), so the scene was really emotional as I had Marcus seek guidance from Carl. Carl didn't die and what he says really moves Marcus. I recommend replaying the scene off camera to see the alternative scene. It's great.
I've not finished the video yet, but on that question you had with Connor at Hanks house: you can have Hank as a friend during this scene which I'm assuming plays out very differently. What you'd have to do is have a friendly relationship with him (like your first playthrough), but select "stay a machine" instead of turning deviant. I've no idea how that scene plays out (I guess an entirely different flow chart) in these circumstances. It might not actually be in his home that you meet, it might be at the bridge from an earlier chapter.
I'll add another comment later if there's more new stuff in the rest of this video. These alt runs are great fun
Also, I've never scene any of the Kara captured scenes. This was all brand new to me too. In both my runs, I made sure they escaped Jericho, with the first being the border crossing. The second being the river crossing (which is wild and was a disaster during my first attempt at it aha).
