Key Biscayne is home base for watersports with Hobie Beach, also known as Windsurfer Beach, is the top windsurfing spot in the Miami area as well as a popular dog-friendly beach.
Historic Virginia Key Beach Park has colorful cabanas, merry go round, playgrounds, a place where you can have a mariachi band at your beach birthday party.
Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park, walking and bike trails, fish, boat camp, rent beach chairs and umbrellas, and the climb in the historic lighthouse is a fabulous experience.
Marjory Stoneman Douglas Biscayne Nature Center on the north side of Crandon Park, has children’s programs, interactive educational activities, nature trails, and pristine natural areas with wildlife
Miami Seaquarium, just off the causeway on the south side of Virginia Key, see dolphins and marine animals up close.
Boaters Grill and no name harbor is my fav restaurant location to arrive by boat
Stiltesville houses off shore are also my fav power boating and waverunner destination.
You can see me on my racing my Yamaha waverunner near a Stiltesville house at the end of the video
I have spent many days on a waverunner leaving from Matheson Hammock and headed for Key Biscayne

The views from the light house are cool
I carried 3 cameras up those tiny light house stairs - was beyond expectations cool - even though the Island greenery was still recovering from hurricane salt water damage.
