This final piece from the band finally dropped and I quite enjoy it. Definitely shows the flaws of modern live Bodom (I.e. the songs being played way too fast, which caused some difficulty with this song), but it’s great to have official live recordings of these songs like this. I decided to go with this song first, since it’s one of the more doable ones, but still hard due to the increased speed. The solos for these covers will be improvised much like the live songs themselves, but may do my own version on top, since it’s difficult to fully work out the live solos (especially when some of them are steeped in Wah).

I hope to do more of these from tomorrow (just depends on which track, the speed fucks me up a little. These tracks are hard enough on their own, add the live speed it becomes a massive pain. Under Grass and Clover is a good example. That bridge is way harder live).

​@@metalftw9652 Yeah tell me about it haha. I don't understand how these guys thought it was a good idea to speed their songs up to the speeds I've seen. I believe that it was to fit more songs into the performance length. One of the worst things was Kissing The Shadows at like 110-115% speed around 2013. That song is hard enough already. I can't even imagine playing it yet at album tempo not even mentioning fully clean and accurate.

I haven't heard the album yet but someone mentioned that Platitudes and Shovel Knockout sound ridiculous because they are too fast lol.

Yeah they really are. That and Under Grass and Clover. Much harder because of how fast they are
