@metalftw9652 still can't do the sweeps myself hahah. Hatebreeder has tons of fun riffs to play. My go to album for just having fun with the guitar

@@blakeoms definitely quite a bit of octave chord tremolo picking. That got very tiring about a third/halfway into the song

@@zareptil5441 trying to think of multiple per album sometimes was really hard. Those are some good picks. Torture’s were fairly easy picks for me, although there are a lot of great heavy riffs (Scourge of Iron was absolutely no doubt though). One of my favourites is the bridge section in Hideous Ichor

@@dexourius I’ll have to do some of the more underrated songs list somepoint. Hung and bled is a personal favourite of mine. Infinite Misery was actually very close to being on this list

@@Samnewson I pretty much used ear for this one. A couple of these have barely any tabs or they’re half finished, so I just trained my ear

@@Samnewson it’s kinda difficult with some of these Cannibal songs. Easiest part usually is figuring out the harmony, it’s almost always the same kind of pattern

@@ofallaxes3982 oh yeah. I got into it around Covid in April 2020 with RE2 remake and OG RE4. Got myself very well accustomed to OG RE4, so I was very pleasantly surprised by this remake. There’s actually quite a bit more I like over the original now (mechanically and control wise, it’s my favourite in that aspect)

@@metalftw9652 I got into RE back in 96’ with the first one lol. The original RE2 is my favorite and always will be. So once I found out they were remaking it, it was like a dream come true lol. I was never really big into RE4 but then I got the remake and was super into that. They did a great job with it. While we don’t need another remake, I would like to see a modernized RE remake with the RE Engine

@@Justin_Holland eh, I wouldn’t say it’s their best album (it’s still in my bottom 5, but probably near the top of the bottom 5. More just goes to show not how bad the album is, but how amazing the other albums are, so still very solid). However, It has some of my favourite Bodom songs in Blooddrunk, One Day You Will Cry, Smile Pretty For The Devil, Tie My Rope and Done With Everything Die For Nothing

Ya tastes differ. I would say I Worship Chaos is a better album than Halo. I would say they peaked w Blooddrunk, got stale, and that the lineup changes injected new energy into the last two albums. As for Hatebreeder, I'll never understand the reverence for it. To me, Follow the Reaper is where it really started coming together

@@Justin_Holland there’s always at least one of my favourite songs from each. The Nail, Hatebreeder, Children of Decadence, Bodom Beach Terror (tied with Chokehold), Next in line, One Day you will cry, Not my funeral, All Twisted, Widdershins and Hexed being some of my favourites (at least one song off of each is incredible)

Not on Songsterr (unless it’s been updated, that one’s ass). No at the time, I used Ultimate guitar and that one actually turned out to be quite good and it was on a 7 string at the time

It definitely started to hurt. Rob Barrett writes some simple yet endurance filled riffs.
