- Learn to alter a simple salt container and turn it into something so beautiful. I used to make these boxes years ago and haven't made one for quite some time. This video is like no other tutorial I have ever done and my hope is that you will try this yourself. I've sold many of these in the past and they really are one of those things that make a great gift for someone you love. Something made entirely by you and they make great conversation pieces. You can theme them in any way you choose and taylor them to the person you want to give them to. This particular box is available for purchase in my Etsy Shop if you're interested in purchasing it. beautiful storage box, I've done several pringles cans as purses, padded and lined them to look more purse than chip cans. used elastic string and bead glued to a button for closure. fun to do.

So pretty and a clever way to recycle. It’s will be long time until I can even think about making this let alone remember to make it. If I do by chance remember when I have emptied my salt box to make this I can only hope it’s half as nice as your. BTW thank you to your son-in-law for the translation, I didn’t want my son-in-law to know about the button until he gets home from training, next month. This is absolutely gorgeous! You are so creative. .... I see you struggling for the box to stay still for you. Perhaps putting the feet on at the beginning? That would help you in positioning pieces where you need them to go. ... Thank you for sharing this beautiful craft.

Oh how I love it! It's very pretty carol. Is that stickles or tiny pearls on that butterfly it's hard to tell. I love that color of fabric flowers.
Thank you! The butterfly has tiny pink rhinestones on it. So pretty! They are sort of opaque.

Such a great idea to seal the image with resin. I wonder if you could use a paint brush to apply it of if that would leave brush strokes. Will have to experiment.

Believe it or not, I buy a small amount of my supplies at a little local shop to me and Michael’s but most come from the generosity of my subscribers who send me happy mail. I get the most beautiful supplies from them. Very blessed

I think a magnetic closure would be perfect! You would have to build a piece into the lower inside at the closure but I’m living that idea. I’m gonna have to try that♥️. I hope you’re doing well my friend.

It happens sometimes with me. I don’t mean for it to happen that way but sometimes it’s t does just based on the embellishments I end up using. I try not to though.
