It's a myth that harpsichord had no dynamics. There's less dynamics than piano, but there's still some. It's absurd to state there were no dynamics in bach's time. With harpsichord it's debatable, but Bach also wrote orchestral, vocal and organ pieces. Clearly dynamics is possible with those instruments
Learn hands separate first and go line by line, or measure by measure if that’s too much. Figure out the fingerings that work for you and write them in. Do the same fingering every time. With a lot of repetition you will get it.
Exactly. I had to come and find this one on YT cause as much as I like Gould, his interpretation of this one was insufferably slow and all wrong imo (same goes for the one in F minor)
