I love game grumps, but with Dan being as much of a rush nerd as I am it adds so much more of an "inside joke" between that overlap of the fanbase.

Dan, this is an incredible cover. I showed it to my father who is an avid Rush fan and my dad absolutely adored it this - he was crying from how wonderful it was. He's seen many covers of this song before and never liked them, but yours he absolutely adored and will forever cherish. Thanks for making my dad smile and creating a wonderful cover of this song - I'm sure my dad will be listening to this for a very long time!

People have different opinions in music. Game Grumps fanboys are the most pathetic kids ever. Imagine getting so offended that someone doesnt like the music that your hero puts out.
I was going to skip taking the kids on vacation this summer since money is a little tight this year. Then I heard this, cried a little, and booked our vacation that night.
NSP was a big part of my childhood, and I can't say enough about it. Rush was a big part of my teenage years.
But together, it brought tears to my eyes. Thank you all for this cover.

Imagine being part of the camera crew as an intern with no knowledge of the day ahead. The boss tells you to bring 2 chairs and you do as a good intern would. You roll up on filming day to the studio with sweat on your brown and strap the chairs to the hatchback’s top railings. You get to a farm, your anxious and filled with anticipation, you go and dry yourself off in the bathroom. Afterwards you come back and see two men using the two chairs you brought doing a sweet chord in unison and sitting next to them is a line of cows.
It's actually nice hearing Dan doing something serious once in a while.

The best Rush song ever. Makes you wonder about how much time has gone by and how much time we have left. Time Stand Still is not an observation, it's a plea.
Do you ever find yourself uncertain if you like a song, or just a singer? Dan does that to me all the time, and I'm beginning to think it's just that I love his voice So Much that anything he sings becomes one of my faves. Further research is required. 😅

Castle Raglan! I spent months trying to recreate this castle in Minecraft from pictures I found online. I wouldn't really recognize most castles, but this one I knew instantly! So cool to have it come back into my life in this way, and in a fantastic music video to boot!

I already loved you and Erin enough for the wonderful content you provide to the lovelies, but when I learned you were also a fan of Rush I truly looked at you like a kindred spirit. This is one of the my favorite songs by Rush and dare I say I think this wonderful cover is in the same ballpark as the original and that you do Geddy, Alex and Neil (God rest his soul) proud. Hold Your Fire is an album that holds so much sentimental value to me. I was introduced to Rush through your enthusiasm for them, several years ago now, and especially over the last year their music and NEP's words have come to mean a very great deal to me and helped me get through the worst. Can't think of a better guy to cover this one. Cheers ✌
I always feel like this is an underrated Rush song - it's poppier than some of their other tunes but the lyrics are top notch. RIP The Professor.

God, I love listening to Dan harmonize, whether it's with himself or other artists. This was a fantastic cover, excellent job to Sally and the Guitar Bros for this awesome collaboration! Also, where was this filmed? Scotland? A friend of mine does virtual augmented tours and lectures of Scottish heritage sites, and I'm sure I remember him showing me footage from these place, but it could just be similar.

This is my favorite Rush song. Im moving away from my hometown tomorrow and am listening to this as Im trying to take everything in. "Freeze this moment a little bit longer" gives me the chills. What an absolutely gorgeous cover.

Dan introduced me to rush cause I always heard him talking about it on game grumps and wearing shirts. So I decided to take a listen one day and I was immediately amazed by rush. Today I consider Rush to be my absolute favorite old band. I had always listened to old rock music or music in general and loved it but rush was so fun learning about their history and their band members (R.I.P Neil Peart). Actually my favorite video on UA-cam is every rush song ever drum cover by drumeo. My age (23) also makes people who actually listened to rush in the 70s and 80s give me trivia questions and I can answer almost all of them.
So I just want to tell you Dan, Thank You for introducing me (and im sure many others) to rush.
Found this as I'm settling into a new routine after my husband & I just made a big move to a new state. It's a huge change, but songs like this are what give me inspiration and hope for a new future and adventure. Thank you, Dan and SGB - this is just what I needed this morning. :)

I legit get teary eyed every time I listen to this. As a massive Rush fan I often don’t care for covers of their songs but this is an exception. Danny has such a beautiful voice and his passion for Rush made this an absolute perfect cover that I find myself listening to all the time! In fact all the stuff you have done with Super Guitar Bros is phenomenal! Danny, I hope to meet you in person someday!

I’m about to turn 22 in a few days and I’ve loved this song since I was so little I can’t even remember. It fills me up with so many different conflicting emotions that make me both love and regret my past but also makes me nervous yet excited for my future. It’s such a confusing combination of emotion that makes me feel both pessimistic and optimistic at the same time. Thank you for giving us such a beautiful and unique rendition of one of my favorite songs and giving it everything it deserves. Much love from a fellow Rush fanatic

I'd say this was about when someone tried to get him cancled by making something up and the internet bomb-rushed all over him for about 5 minutes before realizing the obvious hoax. Even if nothing came of it, I know I'd be totally shaken if the internet revealed just how eager they were to rain that much hellfire on me at the drop of a hat. But I could be misinterpreting the OPs implication.

This song has come to have new meaning in my life now that I’m growing up. I just turned 26, graduated from college, and am completely out on my own. It reminds me that I need to appreciate the small moments of my life and that I need to cherish the people in my life a little more.
He not only looks beautiful, he sounds beautiful 😊 and now he has a lovely wife in his corner to sing for. So happy for them!
