Now that is my kind of dinner - and breakfast... We'd get along very well, I suspect!! Lovely spot despite the proximity of the road, and amazing sunset - expertly captured by (do we get to know your name?). You even caught the silence and the stillness. That's quite a skill! Cold enough to freeze the balls off a brass monkey, mind you! You'd have needed all your base layers - and I'd have needed gloves, myself! Have a good new year when it comes! Paul. 😊
Seemingly it was some sort of missprint that gave Scotland it's only lake. Great video young man. Cherry bakewells for breaky....been there 😂 great camp dude.
Such a great video man!! That place looks so peaceful and amazing! Especially the views around the lake at 2:52 and 6:55, the still water makes it all perfect. Always pretty calming and chill to watch your videos
After a good warm sleep, thot you would take a real refreshing swim in the only Lake in Scotland........swim with the swans............good vid...thanks......🦆🦆
This is not video, its artistry!! There is one almost surreal moment (among many) where the group of mallards - taken the hump maybe, because you hadn't shared your sandwiches😅, backlit on the water, and framed by you crouching over, brewing the tea. A simple task of 'making the tea', but capturing the background water reflections, sky colour medley of the setting winter sun, and ducks going back disappointedly to dabbling for their dinner!! For all of us that have walked and camped in the woods and hills, here and afar, we all remember those perfect moments, quite out off the blue, encountering wildlife, big, small or tiny. I'd say for you, this was one of those. Many more, I'm sure to record in your forthcoming adventures.
Yeh was a special moment for sure. Every adventure creates some amazing memories. Thanks for the support and I’ll see you next year for more adventure 👍

It's said an English Government cartographer/surveyor mistakingly marked it as lake (previously loch) and it has stuck.
Ahhhh that makes sense. Quite cool the name stuck
Which tent & sleeping bag mate??
Tent is the vango 200 (2 person tent) and sleeping bag is the mountain warehouse microlite 1400
