If not for the color I would get one!! However with this new 8s set up from FMS I think this is my nee test bed!! We shall see... Rich I am really appreciative of the thorough, well thought out and helpful videos like this! To me its obvious that you are more about helping than pushing products!! The hobby needs this!! Keep up the good work!!
This truly is one sweet jet! I have been flying the wings off of mine with no issue's what so ever. Plenty of thrust and sounds great probably the best sounding 90mm edf so far!
@@jeffarab4947 fly's great landings can be a little tricky. But if you set it up right she will land smooth. I use 5000 and 6000 mah packs. Pulse and Rc jetwerx
Man I can't believe they discontinued this model!?! Not sure if I wanna buy one of these from a "different" retailer? Nice video Rich! I'll be keeping my eye out for one used maybe.
FMS is doing a great job. You fly them well btw. Loving the construction and putting it together. Looking for one as we speak. The yellow avanti s is also very nice, but it looks like fms is on top 😀🇳🇱
How do you compare this against Viper 90mm? I need to get this or Viper for FPV with head tracking and hopefully formation. I prefer "shape" but not the color of Scorpion, but so many say Viper is better. I don't care much about high speed. You reviewed both, so your view would be most trust worthy.
They are similar but different. The Viper 90 is the all around, one size fits all jet for everyone & very easy to fly. The Scorpion is unique. It's more of a hotrod jet fighter & requires a bit more finesse to land it well. The Scorpion is a bit more slippery & requires more precise control of the landing speed in the flare. The Scorpion glides in beautifully with zero power! You will not go wrong either way.
It would be sweet on any 8s setup! A friend Just recently set his up with an 8s JP fan & it was awesome.... I will probly put an 8SJP in mine as well when I can find the time to do it:)

@@RCINFORMER Someone already asked same question and clearly answered. Guess I'll go with Viper. That non US version with blue paint looks much better than boring white. Hope they sell it very very soon.
Bjørnar Senstad Both are comparable & nearly identical in performance. The Scorpion is possibly a bit faster & the Stinger probably has slightly better slow speed performance.

How do you think this puppy would do on 8s, with a 90mm JP fan. I know you have some experience with the JP fans. Wondering what your thoughts are
