Thanks for watching! Do you want to try the Lumos smart sleep mask? Watch Lexy try out a proper EXOSKELETON SUIT in our first episode of Beta Test: ua-cam.com/video/OiAVTz5BbZQ/v-deo.html
Looking at that light you just showed that's not the way to hack your body so that product I wouldn't listen to it I would go with something like Dreamlight they use an orange light that actually works because it releases melatonin
What you're really doing is you're not hacking your brain with those type of Lights you're just waking yourself up every time your body is still lacking sleep
Hi! Thanks for watching Beta Test. If you want to find out more about the science behind the mask, there's a deep dive on CNET! Also, the mask will be available in January 2019 for $229 (link to it in the article as well)
Got it. Thought I was taking crazy pills. Would be interested but my Asia trip is in a month. Interested to see how it turns out. Jet lag is a huge factor for me.
Haha yeah. I go to Asia all the time. Can't travel without it. Sadly we won't have the product available in a month, but definitely for your future trips!
The other option, (and this is an traditional Australian cure-all) is the "Harden-up" approach, Aussies have been using this for generations works a treat every time I fly, and the best part is it's free.
If it wasn’t for the fact that you need to pay $99 annually just to be able to use the app/alarm, I would totally buy this. Why would you pay $199 just to get a regular sleep mask without any of the built in alarm functions working?
Interesting, but maybe the crucial thing is to start adjusting to your destination timezone the day/night before the flight, and you don't actually need that device. I'm not jumping to any conclusion, I just think that somebody should test it. Anyway, I'm leaving a thumb up for this video.
You make a great point. That's definitely one strategy, but your body is only able to "adjust" timezones 1 hour a day on its own, so it takes a little longer than if you use some sort of light therapy.
Hey, @Lexy Savvides, I would love to see a comparative review of this sleep mask with other smart sleep masks with more sensors and functionality like the Dreamlight Zen and the Dreem and maybe Neuroon Open.

I thought it said around d 175 in the video. An I going nuts?
You're not crazy! The pre-order price changed to $229 when we put the video out, added the correction to the description.
Yes, $175 was our reservation price earlier. The early supporters still get $175, the price when they signed up!

Congrats on surviving two whole weeks without being killed by spiders, snakes, crocodiles and sharks.
Thats funny cause I say something similar when my friends get back from US about surviving not getting shot by some gun wielding nut job.
CoderMonkey Nathan we in the black community call those gun wielding nut jobs police 🚔
@@Sandro_G More likely the black men in black hood.
rattlesnakes are everywhere in the US
@@CoderMonkeyNathan we’re lucky any of us survive that every single day as americans.
God, imagine waiting in line for the toilet on the plane because someone is vlogging inside it
LOL. she was speaking somewhat boldly in volume considering.
Would like to see this tested on the journey Oz to the UK (which is when I’d use it) and would be a 28+ hour trip!!
Definitely! That's the ultimate test. 14 hours is easy compared to that!!

LOL onya mate!
I searched about what you said but couldnt find any information

Lexy would you investigate the Self Balancing Electric Unicycles. They seem to be up and coming. Thx
Could this work for delayed sleep phase disorder?

Good question: yes you can, it's not just for jet lag. There's more in the article on CNET (link in description)
