    For jet tutorials i think the most good and best videos are your's and yous voice is very clear and you have teaching capabilities

    Just watched these videos and very solid information. My friend got me into jets and I can easily do ground support, but struggle with the 100 SS guys. Can't wait to try some of these out so I at least live longer.

    I'm interested to know what top tier pilots thought about the information in this video 5 years ago. Pilots nowadays cut scissors very fast and it's not really a good defense anymore

      I think this was very well explained, this man was way ahead of his time imo

  • @murtsman1
    @murtsman1 10 років тому +1

    actually what you were doing was the "rolling scissors". the regular "scissors" is just turning horizontally left and right keeping altitude, which is usually used for when your wingman wants to get a shot at him, and you are trying to keep the enemies attention for long enough.

    Awesome as always.
    1 question: is it better to stop pitching up while performing a switch (releasing spacebar), or switch while still pitching up?

    Thank you so much for your videos, I subscribed to your channel but I have a question: from 1:01 when you're doing your scissors and you change direction there must be sound swoosh?

    I have the exact same problem. Upgrading, if you will, to being on the level of Top Tier pilots.
    I play with top tier pilots all the time, and I always inevitably get destroyed after like 10 minutes of evading.

  • @almalki4ever
    @almalki4ever 11 років тому

    Great tutorial thanks man, pilots nowadays tend to use tricks on you by letting u chasing them at the beginning of the DF, then they will ECM and somehow be in your tail or even have a kill shot. Usually good pilots will end the challenge in like 30 sec or less LOL. I haven't reach that level quite yet, but I hope to do :D

    Hey Smashd - I am an above average pilot in BF3, but I have a problem, going against the top tier pilots - I can get a good shot at them, sometimes almost a disable - yet I can't quite finish it. after a couple of moves - they invariably end up on my tail and I cannot shake them - I am working on my Speed control to improve it, but have you any other tips on defense/how to stay on someones tail?

    When you hear the "swoosh" does it mean they're almost close on your tail, Im told it means they passed you, but at what part of the loop would they be vertically?

    now, see the thing is
    battlefield 3 is a game (GAME) for fun
    and people were SUPPOSED to keep it that way
    but lmao
    jets were already wayy more complicated than helis and tanks
    but people induced these SISSORING and CUTTING and SWITCHES which made dogfighting a literal JOKE
    can't even follow a jet properly... let alone killing them
    the Lvl 100 players still play this game after soo many years and it seems that's all they did with their lives.
    as a HUMAN we have other stuff to do, like studies, family time AND a social life outside our houses which needs time as well ...
    can't put in hundreds of hours just for practice to excel in a GAME.
    sorry if I sound mad but I always had a burning hate for competition in games
