Your editing skills are very well rounded, and they're way effective for your channel. For your title effects, maybe try toning down the contrast a bit and sort of cleaning up the words for a "simplistic esque" kinda look. Sort of metaphorically tightens up your image, and echoes professionalism. But yeah, great work. This depth of game mechanics will be the future of UA-cam gaming channels. Right now it's being overrun with fluffy videos (e.g. "weapon reviews") so naturally it's time for a subtle evolution of a corner of the interwebs.

I wouldn’t say that the ecm blinds the guy on ur tail. Cause most of the time once I’m behind an enemy pilot and he pops ecm it doesn’t do much of a difference cause I can still clearly see him unless I’m in first person which I only use to check mi speed control and to aim cause I have camera chase off (Best decision I made) (PS4 by the way) and thanks for turning this rookie into an ace pilot 🤟

Yeah man it's more like tapping, I tap it periodically if I'm doing a horizontal loop. When it comes to vertical looping however, I hold accelerate on the way up and brake on the way down.
I'm following all your Steps and it Worked! For some reason, I always lack my Controller Joysticks because When Ever I get to somebody tell on Console, I always move and my Heart beat, Which Mean that I'm really Nervous on getting to a Enemy Tail!!!!

A lot of this doesn’t apply in hardcore. I can look out of the top of my canopy while looping at perfect speed and no amount of switching will save you. Doesn’t do much for me forgetting about the ground, or the AA though 😂
Protip: If you got someone on your tail and you feel they're lining up for a killshot...try banking in any direction. When your tail goes to follow you...brake to 313, pitch down and roll in any direction using opposite rudders as hard as you can. Your jet will almost instantly flip 180 degrees. Impossible to follow effectively for any pilot granted that they went for the first move. One of the slickest moves in the game. Disclaimer: Like with any move, don't overuse this. It's good but only if your tail goes for your initial turn. If you are on the offensive against this, sit back for a bit and watch for the double move. Cut the second move.

Very useful tips, unfortunately I mostly play hardcore so no radar/third person 🤣 Still useful every now and then. Hopefully Battlefield 6 has similar dog-fighting!
I hope so too man, I could never really get into hardcore because of the lack of auto repair in air vehicles. The jets are just too hard to land in Battlefield 4, it was doable in Battlefield 3 but at least there the had landing strips and you had a fair chunk of armor left after you'd gotten disabled.
Next lesson, tactics for beating lock on missiles? In BF3, apparently you could outturn heatseekers. Now in BF4, missiles turn at one million Gs to hit you. In a head to head engagement, I've watched the MAA double tap Active Radars, I popped my ECM and wave off before the lock tone and still they lock and hit, #DICEPLS Currently I'm a stealth jet and a transport chopper pilot when I'm in a flying mood. But there's a very bad glitch that consistently gives no audio hit notification on the stealth jets by guns.
I think this really helped because I would spend 8 minutes trying to get a guy off my tail and the second I shoot him as he comes towards me he won't move and a jet ram happens but nice advice on that also do you think missiles are really any good because I use them to stop the engine of the target then I shoot them
Personally I don't bother using missiles on stealth jet, I prefer to keep Laser-guided, but a lot of other people use ARMs (which are annoying as hell! :P)

thanks for the tips I'm a console player on Xbox and I'm a very confident Infantry Soldier looking to learn how to fly when I'm on the ground I usually drop 4.0 k/d ratio with over 30 kills but when I fly It's like a foreign language to me I'm going to go practice
I am having heaps of trouble, I come across these fighter pilots and they are ALWAYS behind me. I try and loop vertically, but the manage to stay on that loop and take me out. I try to loop horizontally, but they just shred me. I don't have ECMs so it makes it harder, and I am always being outurned, despite me trying what you say here. I am just wondering how they always take me out, I stay around 300-330 speed when turning but do I need to tap de throttle while going up and down? This just really angers me because no matter how hard I try they are always behind me.
Don't get frustrated man it takes a lot of playing to get good at dogfighting. But yeah, you need to hold throttle up when you're going up, and as you near the top of a loop you need to tap afterburner in the stealth jet to keep your speed at 313. If somebody approaches you without you seeing them, they will always have a massive advantage, if you see a jet coming for you, your best bet is to turn and face him head on, fly past him and then start looping to try and get on his tail, that way you'll both be at a fair start.

I use mouse/keyboard to manoeuvre yes, I actually found using 3rd person in the stealth jets to be easier to aim with than 1st person believe it or not, just practice man :).
I played many air superiority and did many dog fights but I must admit no1 ever fooled me with switch with ECM. Trail always gave their position away. They end up getting killed by me while their ECM is active.
What do you do when you have no unlocks, and keep getting hounded by skilled players? When I'm airborne, they're right on me before I can try anything. It's worse when they team against me, even if I'm tailing one.

I'm asking this a little late but are there any more advanced maneuvers? I befriended an ace pilot and switches don't work well on him. We both have good turn speed, he just does some double secret move to bet behind me and he follow all of my switches even when I'm out of sight. Thanks in advance
Ghost, you sent me here from your Mobile AA video. Would you say that drafting is every a good strategy? Drafting being slowing down so that the jet tailing you that is presumably going much much faster than you passes you and allows you to tail the enemy jet. Don't know if you covered this in your speed control video as I have not gotten to it yet.
Some people seem to do that but I've never found it particularly off-putting, it is quite annoying sometimes when people are speed failing since I'm reluctant to reduce speed. Even if they pass you, you simply loop directly upwards and they won't be able to get their speed up in time to chase you.
I prefer the 20mm's over the others, I just find it easiest to use in 3rd person and am used to it. I think they're all pretty similar when it comes to time-to-kill.

Great video ghost but i tend to stay away from the jets xd i only like the attack jet and than take out ground units but when a other jet comes i instanly bail out. I just hate dogfighting in BF4 in BF3 is was pretty beast but the mini map here fucks me up
Yeah baby, 3rd person all day long in the stealth :P. The moves themselves are easy to perform once you don't cock up speed control, but knowing when to do them and in which direction takes some practice.
Well I should try it too then. And about beginning pilots flying straight towards....the amount of times I've been rammed due to this... Well it's better than being deliberately rammed which happened to me yesterday. Surprised i wasn't banned from that server for my language against this person ;p. I can understand them being pissed though, I was laser guided bombing TOW launchers and quads :3.
No matter hard I try, I can't out turn a stealth jet when I am in a attack jet. I even use your technique when flying at 310-315 and this video for dogfighting. Can you give me an insite on how to beat these damn stealth jets?
The only hope is to outwit them my friend :). The fact is that Stealth Jets have a tighter turning circle than Attack Jets (since they are supposed to be superior at air-to-air) so if he can successfully stay on your six he's going to eventually get you. I beat a lot of Stealth jet pilots because they either have no idea how to manage their speed properly or I lose the tail with a simple manoeuvre. One thing you can try is to sneak up on the Stealth Jet before he even knows you're there, pop your ECM as you get in range of his air radar and try to pop him while he's none the wiser :).
crowviking Don't play HxC because it's for low skilled plebs who can't understand the concept of skill floor, cieling, or skill gap, and the fact HxC has never actually been balanced correctly before because BF isn't made for HxC
because of the altitude distance, often when you're at the top of a loop, the enemy is maybe tailing you and is at the bottom of his, if you decide to switch horizontally while he's at the bottom, he may not see it, but if you do it while you're both horizontal (i.e. he's at 9 o'clock and you're at 3 o'clock) it's more likely he'll catch you. Also, you're air radar still flips, so that confuses people too.
When I look for a new target I normally use the radar but when I spot them on radar, I don't see the diamond shape on them when someone spots them. Is there a way to find out if the target is high above or down below?

Usually because he's doing speed control just as well as you are, if he or his contrails start to disappear more and more, you know he's gaining on you and you're in trouble!
Cassio Salomao I play on Xbox one, and I find it hard to avoid enemies mainly because everyone has the same sensitivity, controller etc. What I've found is that if you are being closely followed: pop ECM, do half a loop and then try to slow down as much as possible (without falling out of the sky-accelerate slightly). From my experiences, I've found that a lot of pilots will fly straight past you. As soon as they pass you, accelerate and you will be on their tail.Only problem with this is that a lot of experienced pilots simply shoot you down as you are slowing down. Good luck.

Every second tap the break until you reach 315 -300 you’ll notice the deference in the turning speed

Number 1 tips is using US jets. CN and RU jets sucks at maneuver and had big surface area

You dont want to pull a switch at the top of your loop its easy to pick up
I genuinely hate seeing vehicle mains, ruins the flow as infantry and unstoppable as aircraft especially if they’re in a duo
time to git gud, or remain bad and just abuse lock ons. lock ons + a little bit of teamwork is absolutely broken in bf4

In a lot of the clips you were dogfighting J-20’s which from my experience preform worse than the F35’s, would like to see more fair fights

Great video ghost but i tend to stay away from the jets xd i only like the attack jet and than take out ground units but when a other jet comes i instanly bail out. I just hate dogfighting in BF4 in BF3 is was pretty beast but the mini map here fucks me up

Yeah baby, 3rd person all day long in the stealth :P. The moves themselves are easy to perform once you don't cock up speed control, but knowing when to do them and in which direction takes some practice.
Well I should try it too then. And about beginning pilots flying straight towards....the amount of times I've been rammed due to this... Well it's better than being deliberately rammed which happened to me yesterday. Surprised i wasn't banned from that server for my language against this person ;p.
I can understand them being pissed though, I was laser guided bombing TOW launchers and quads :3.
No matter hard I try, I can't out turn a stealth jet when I am in a attack jet. I even use your technique when flying at 310-315 and this video for dogfighting. Can you give me an insite on how to beat these damn stealth jets?
The only hope is to outwit them my friend :). The fact is that Stealth Jets have a tighter turning circle than Attack Jets (since they are supposed to be superior at air-to-air) so if he can successfully stay on your six he's going to eventually get you.
I beat a lot of Stealth jet pilots because they either have no idea how to manage their speed properly or I lose the tail with a simple manoeuvre.
One thing you can try is to sneak up on the Stealth Jet before he even knows you're there, pop your ECM as you get in range of his air radar and try to pop him while he's none the wiser :).

I feel like no matter if I pull down or up on my analog stick my turning speed stays the same, I can't tell if I'm turning sharper or not
Just concentrate on looking at your speed in 1st person, after a while you’ll get a feel for if you’re going too slow or not

crowviking Don't play HxC because it's for low skilled plebs who can't understand the concept of skill floor, cieling, or skill gap, and the fact HxC has never actually been balanced correctly before because BF isn't made for HxC
turn vehicle fov up as high as you can, you dont need the same kind of aim like infantry
Why would you be least visible at the top and bottom? It's not like the camera flips a la BF3.
because of the altitude distance, often when you're at the top of a loop, the enemy is maybe tailing you and is at the bottom of his, if you decide to switch horizontally while he's at the bottom, he may not see it, but if you do it while you're both horizontal (i.e. he's at 9 o'clock and you're at 3 o'clock) it's more likely he'll catch you. Also, you're air radar still flips, so that confuses people too.

When I look for a new target I normally use the radar but when I spot them on radar, I don't see the diamond shape on them when someone spots them. Is there a way to find out if the target is high above or down below?

So why is it that most of the time you don't actually see physically the enemy jet and just use the radar?
Usually because he's doing speed control just as well as you are, if he or his contrails start to disappear more and more, you know he's gaining on you and you're in trouble!

Yeah the AA is pretty OP against the AJ, and especially so since they got nerfed.

Cassio Salomao I play on Xbox one, and I find it hard to avoid enemies mainly because everyone has the same sensitivity, controller etc. What I've found is that if you are being closely followed: pop ECM, do half a loop and then try to slow down as much as possible (without falling out of the sky-accelerate slightly). From my experiences, I've found that a lot of pilots will fly straight past you. As soon as they pass you, accelerate and you will be on their tail.Only problem with this is that a lot of experienced pilots simply shoot you down as you are slowing down. Good luck.
