There are no words to describe the qualities of this masterpiece of George A. Romero style nostalgia. Only a radical artist would have the courage and good heart to enchant his audience with his creativity and altruism in dedicating his time to people who don't know him, but appreciate his work of art. And you really did a great job introducing Claire Redfield from the 70s, she's really hotter as Hell. Just like the monsters and the destructive environment, pure 70s style. Pure genius. Keep up the great work in bringing nostalgia into a work of art. Thank You.
@@ocean_monster1 It's very easy to fill your mouth with insulting criticism when you're jealous of others. Envy of someone else is the stupidest thing there is.
the music is very cool. frankly today a realisator realized a movie with the music style and the 70s ambient on the resident evil theme the guy destroy all i think
Just an awesome video. Love the concept and character detail. Curious as to what the name of that background music is. Brooding and apocalyptic, love it
3:14 This much more reserved and unassuming Ada Wong is my favorite image. She goes completely La Femme Nikita in future games, so I love that in RE2 she kept it lowkey in her role as a spy. That said, this image here gives a much more compelling visual to the woman pretending to just be a civilian who got caught up in the mess of Raccoon City while looking for her boyfriend. Meanwhile, she’s manipulating Leon behind his back and has her own agenda for getting to the g-virus.
It's a really good concept, and most of it fits perfectly with the theme. But I couldn't help but notice the flat screen monitors on several desks that didn't exist in the 70s. A 21" CRT was the standard back then with a square screen and weighing roughly 60ish lbs. I'm not telling you this to be mean, just to make you aware of it for future projects with similar themes.
Yes. Keep in mind, Midjourney probably isn't aware of such anachronisms. Also, I thought they fit the high-tech, futuristic feel of the Umbrella lab in RE2.
The flat panel monitors at 2:44 and 4:47 took me out of the 1970's vibe that this production was attempting to do. Not a diss on it, but if you're aiming for a retro look, little things like this will pull people out of the timeframe of when this is supposed to take place. Just a bit of constructive criticism :)
Shit if only they would go for it and make a George Romero style film. A good director and writer from the original maker's of RES . The zombies only get better they rot more like Zombi.
This is so good. As many issues as it had, road to racoon city actually reminded me of an old school john carpenter vibe to it. I just wish it had focused on the first game instead for rushing two in as well
I would agree. It's uncanny what AI can already do. There are AI generated videos of Will Smith eating spaghetti. It's going to be interesting to see how much the law cracks down on the use of actors' likenesses. It could get to the point where actors don't even need to act anymore. AI can just take their image and do almost anything with it.
Only thing wrong I can see wrong with this is Claire's too old, she looks early 30s instead of late teens or very early 20s. Still that's only a very minor gripe.
@@fiveorsixstores Ah, it didn’t even occur to me that it could be Annette 😅 Since her picture shows up amongst all the RPD ones, it was reading to me as the Mayor’s daughter.
They keep coming with lame excuses how they can't make descent videogame movies. I would love to see a great movie of games like Splinter Cell, Prince of Persia Warrior Within, God of War, Assassin's Creed and yes Resident Evil! How is it possible that they come with crap like angry birds and now even baby shark? Wtf!?
I never get tired of watching this, such an amazing concept of Resident Evil 2, you even got me to rewatch Dawn of the Dead (1978) lol
You can never watch Dawn of the Dead too many times. Thank you for the support!
This shit got me laughing

The music really adds to the eeriness I wish there was a RE movie like this.
Me too. Thank you for watching!
2:25. They even had flat screen monitors in the 70's!
Umbrella did
The licker was even more terrifying than the original!
1:18 Nicholas Cage's acting carrer in cinemas is where it all began
Would love to see a Code: Veronica adaptation in this same style as well!
Yes, I will do Code Veronica in the future for sure. Thank you for watching!

Art? It was done by writing prompts to Midjourney. Insult to actual artists...

Man , that would recreate the horror/survival components missing in the RE movies ...great work ...
Thank you!
This was the movie we wanted
This looks like how George was thinking about this movie after directing that epic commercial
Would have been better than the shitty WS Anderson movies
Thanks for showing me something I didn't know I wanted. I would love to see someone make a modern movie like this. I love this. Thank you.
Thank YOU!
Then make it..
In this time line, James Rolfe ( The Angry Video Nerd) did a multiple part video where he visited the filming locations for a Monster Madness special.
Haha!
This looks so good! Why TF is this not a movie yet!!!
They keep trying, but can't seem to get it right.
I could watch this over an over again. Like stills of a Horror genre masterpiece.
Thank you!
My favorite thing on the internet ❤
Thank you!
He wrote a screenplay for re 1, thats what we should have gotten
I'm sure it would have been interesting
I love the Halloween 3 cross the thing theme in the background really fits the atmosphere
the music is very cool.

This is insane!
So sad we’ll never get to see a George Romero directed Resident Evil movie 😢
The background music really sells it ..
Agreed. That's why I chose it.
I love that if you put the speed to X2 it’s less ambiance more action but still so darn cool!
Interesting. Thank you for watching!
More like X1.25 for better sounding music
absolutely amazing 🥲

They should make a resident evil 2 1970s era with VR now that would be freaking cool
Very cool.

Hi! I loved all three versions of RE 60s 70s and 80s. Will you ever do a REC 60' 70's or 80's version pls?

The music to this is really dope! Sounds like synthwave. What track is it?
It's called Distress Signal by White Bat Audio. Hit up his UA-cam channel. He does great work.

How do you make these ? Ai? They are incredible
Yes, the photos are AI generated. Thank you!
The dag wasboribably the most surreal out of all of them. That was so terrifying because of how demonic and evil it looked.
Masterpiece
Thank you!
This version actually looks closer to Resident Evil 1.5, where the police station looks more like this one.
Yeah, it was inspired by the original RE2, 1.5, and the remake. It's a mess.
@@fiveorsixstores When I saw the 1.5 leak. I thought that the police station, seemed more realistic feeling.
Kristen Stewart as Claire? Nah, can't see it. Ha ha ha.
Maybe Kirsten Dunce back in the day.
If they still used grainy film like this, horror movies could be great again!
Film is slowly making a comeback.
Lmao hunk and tofu at the end
Yeah, I thought I'd throw them in for fun.

Can you do Dino crisis please? ❤
Yes, I will certainly do Dino Crisis in the future. Thank you for watching!

Not sure if you still make these videos but if you did a dead rising as a romero movie (like dotd isnt a real thing🤦🏿♂️) that would be dope af....
Dead rising is on my list for sure.
the theme music is a little more 'john carpenter esq '
Why was the OG taken down? I watched it just a couple hours back.
I wanted to add the channel intro to the video. I also wasn't happy with the Licker image, so I replaced it with a much better one.

This has been taken down and re-uploaded with changes. Shame, the original video was much better.
