Until now, there was never a indication that Stephanie uses a limo or driver to get around town. She is driving around town by herself. So that whole Limo story makes zero sense. There no mentioning of any driver up until now. It has been point of several sl of Steph driving by herself places (Angelas place, work, airport on the way she goes missing). Sure wish Stephanie had been true to character and taken on Sheila. Raged against her like we’ve seen her do with Brooke. Those men are wimps. Did you see Ridge’s scared face?
Sheila: You’re wondering how in the world did I ever get past all of them (the police)? The writers know viewers are asking the same question. The answer is a non answer. Basically, the police can’t stop me.
While I’m not condoning Sheila’s behavior, she did make fair points about everyone. Most especially Stephanie. Stephanie may have been right about Sheila, but she was very cruel, and she involved Ridge.
Steph is the one everyone wants acceptance from and they get mad if she doesn't give it. Thorne was alot more mean to Sheila than Ridge was...in fact Ridge accepted Sheila's offer to host his engagement party with Brooke. Thorne never accepted her (didn't invite her to macy's sobriety party, didn't ask her to the concert in Amsterdam...). Ridge just basically ignored Sheila for the most part. So Sheila should be more mad at Thorne. It's pretty easy to blame Steph when things start to fall apart. But you know who was really, actually cruel to Sheila? Eric. That man was a terrible husband to her and that's who she should really be mad at more than anyone else.
@@TriniT21well, Thorne uninvited her three times (the sobriety party, the Rotterdam concert, the wedding), and he is getting punished by being uninvited to Sheila's goodbye party!

Good thing Jessica didn't run away to Mexico with Dylan... She wasn't going to get any blue Mustang there. Also a good thing that she has such a good auntie who would gift her a car, even after all the unnecessary drama she put her through
I'm still trying to figure out whose car that blue Mustang is. Dylan was talking about it like it was his, so I thought his parents had given it to him. Then Jessica was joking about Dylan gifting it to her for her high-school graduation, which was obviously a joke. But it still seemed like Dylan's car - he was driving, he seemed comfortable with it.... ???? (And suddenly everyone's driving a blue Mustang. For plot convenience.)
@@shanemarais823 it didn't seem clear at first (another bad set of dialogue written). But it seems it was Jessica's car (graduation present) and she jokingly thanked him for it. Dylan is on scholarship and couldn't even afford bail when he was in jail . No way his parents (who didn't even show up during his whole trial) is gifting him a car, and not a car like that.. With a CD PLAYER lol.
Is the car Jessica's or Dylan's graduation gift? From their talk I wasn't sure who owns it, who got it. ( _Dylan: I knew you would love this car._ ) I thought it was Dylan's, who has now graduated from college.
Sheila IS coo coo, but she was also right, there was no reason for Eric to dump her like that. She went to visit her mother during a time her marriage was rock solid, then she came back and he was over her completely and wanted a divorce. He never really told her why, that was all on Eric. He’s an a-hole to the 10th degree. And sure, Sheila was aloof, but there was also zero reason for Stephanie to hate her like she did. Sheila was extremely nice to her from the start, and Steph didn’t care, she trashed her from the very beginning because and only because she wanted Eric back for herself. Ridge also had zero reason for hating her. Brooke was the only person who cared about Sheila because out of all the others, she’s the most compassionate and caring of them all, because she too came from nothing and had to deal with Stephanie too, whom Brooke was super nice to in the beginning. Like Sheila, Brooke NEVER deserved Stephanie’s hatred. I didn’t watch Y&R, so I don’t know how the whole Sheila story started with Lauren Fenmore, but I know what happened with their story as it went on. Sheila came to LA to start over even though she was still crazy, and everyone except Eric and Brooke trashed her from the beginning for no reason. Stephanie was just a bitter old woman who didn’t have what it took to keep her husband, thats why he left her, nearly went back to Beth, then married Brooke and had 2 kids, and then married Sheila. Even though he’s not with any of them now, he STILL hasn’t gone back to Stephanie (at least not for a while yet anyways). Sheila burned her bridges in Genoa City, yeah, but as far as everyone in LA knew, she was just a nice young woman who got a job as a nurse at Forrester. She didn’t deserve what the entire bunch did to her. So I don’t blame her for acting out like this, of course she could have done it in a Non-Crazy criminal way, but still. Sheila’s speech to everyone here, is why even though she’s a nut burger, you still feel sorry for her. The best kind of villain.
Thank you for confirming - I thought it sounded more low-key, not as shrill and sax-squeaky, more power in the low end. I thought I was imagining it because of a head cold.

@@NewYorkNick0607 yeah, keep in mind that I was little at the time, and of course there was no internet back then to find out about what it was about ti happen later. This episode was broadcasted 27th or 28th of September 1995 where I live.
I'm still trying to work out how, if Mike assaulted James, the police have nothing on him. And nothing to bring him in for questioning over if James is an eyewitness to his aiding the Queen of Doom. Unless it's just James' word against his. Perhaps B oner Davis can help with legal advice.
It doesn't make ANY sense! There is no way Mike would be allowed to walk around free or that the Forresters wouldn't have fired him already. James' accusation plus the physical evidence from Sheila's house/dungeon plus Stephanie confirming she heard James banging on the pipes when she went over there would be more than enough probable cause to arrest or detain Mike for questioning and get a search warrant to his house. This is absurdly bad writing, even by Brad's bad writing standards. All they had to do was create a new set with Sheila and Mike hiding out in a different location to make this believable. (Sorry to rant)
Sheila what are you talking about. Rigde and none of Stephanie's children owe you anything. And you haven't done anything to get to know not even one of them. Sheila is only loyal to Sheila, like brooke only to herself. Stephanie owes nothing to sheila or brooke. What is wrong with Eric's pole dancers?
None of those supposely men (James, Rigde, Eric) in this living room are useful. None of them attacks her or are managing her or are getting the useless cops from outside. What stupid writing is this? Dozens of cops ourside, but not one inside of the house. What training have they gotten?
Dylan is a character that keeps being pimped up (after the statutory rape case). - scholarship Dylan got a car as graduation gift. He isn't a student anymore. (And soon he will get his own place ) - he has stayed away from Jessica for several months and Jessica is the one who asks him out (and will clear it with her aunt first) - former intern Dylan has taken over Anthony's tasks and office since Ivana's death - Dylan is smarter than his boss Sally and suspects Anthony to have murdered Ivana While hothead Dylan needed some maturing up, that "maturing" will create more drama for Jessica and Dylan.
One thing Brad did get right (at least for some time) was Sheila's many exit/departure scenes. Sure, the set-up for these scenes was always nonsensical, and the storytelling was hardly noteworthy. But he did get that this was a big character who needed to go out with a big spectacle. She couldn't just quietly be moved off the canvas. Because of that, we got at least some suspense and excitement when each exit came around. Then came 2017 onwards where Sheila strangely became a shadow of her former self, completely toned down and cheesy. Hence she left in 2017 with a whimper. When she returned, the writing was even worse. And now she's domesticated, Deacon's twisted fiancee who does little beyond hanging out with him at his restaurant. How the mighty have fallen.
I agree completely! Sheila was such an iconic character, and watching her on the show from 2017 on is just painful. It's like the current writers don't know the character at all.

Where does the limo driver comes from in Sheilas Story about Stephanie. We never saw nor we have ever heard of one so far. At beginning of several sls were often Stephanie driving somewhere on her own (angelas place, airport on the way she gets missing, work, around town, Hospital). She is driving a Mercedes around town by herself. No driver she waits for. And Sheila hasn't treated staff/employees any good. Remember Sheila is the one that terrozied Judy, almost killed Brooke, tried to kill Mike. And even Maria doesn't like Sheila. And Sheila is the one to talk about making staff/employees suffering. Sheila terriozited Judy, almost killed Brooke and her child, tried to kill Mike and pushed jay off the balcony. Even Maria doesn't like Sheila.
Too bad Dylan is only fun to watch when he has his shirt off. At least Dylan and Jessica aren't quite as completely boring as Liam and Hope, but that's not saying much.
Sheila is angry because all the people in there didn't accept her as part of the family, as Ridge and Stephanie ,or were a threat to her marriage, Lauren and James. But a part of James lately, they had been honest showing her their despise. On the other hand, she considers Brooke the one who supported her. Wrong read here Sheila, Brooke doesn't care and she hired and used you only to annoy Stephanie. Eric was the one who didn't care about Sheila's feelings and never did he ever fight with his family for her. So the disappointment is wrongly directed to the ones that didn't pretend to be friends or husbands.
Brooke did understand Sheila’s plight with Stephany. Sheila did make friends with Brooke for a common cause…unaccepting treatment from Stephany. Brooke did listen to Sheila and they became friends of convenience for both of them. 😊

if Shelia's on the run how did she even get her car. They would have it confiscated by the police already. ?? It couldn't have been parked at Mike's... they would have found it already when they went to Mikes???
I really don't get it. What has Stephanie done to Sheila? Nothing. She left her mostly alone. Sheila knows nothing about Stephanie. Sheila used and abused everyone in this room. The only one in this that used her is Eric.
Every since Sheila got with Eric Steph and her sons have been trying to sabotage their relationship and even after she married Eric they tried to make her feel like an outsider in her own family.
@@lil_jon411 Stephanie didn't sabatoge this relationship, Eric and Sheila did that to themselves. Eric was the one runing to Stephanie and complaining. She offered him a friendship and listened. And that is Stephanie's family, it's not Sheilas. Eric and might his children were at fault here, but not Stephanie. Sheila and all Eric's past, present and future bimbos aren't Stephanie's family. Stephanie has nothing to do with them and owes any of them not a damn thing. They aren't Stephanie's family or any of her friends. They don't belong into Stephanies family or home. Maybe into Eric's, but that is his busisness and responsiblity to make that happen, not Stephanie's. Any ex wife in her right mind wouldn't welcome or play happy (Patchwork)family with their ex husbands bimbos. No way. And isn't it Sheilas responsiblity as well to form a relationship with her husbands children. That is not Stephanie's responsiblity.
@@andream5998 when I said sabotage I meant would constantly try to talk Eric into leaving her and was talking bad about her, even when (at the time) she hadn’t even done anything wrong. Also I wasn’t saying Steph and Sheila were family I meant her family with her husband and his kids is what Steph always made her feel like a outsider of. After they got married and Eric and Steph would talk about things she always had a way of making it seem like she wasn’t welcomed…and she’s Eric’s wife.
@@lil_jon411 But is that Stephanie's responsiblity to make Sheila welcome anywhere? No it isn't. Eric brought his pole dancers into Stephanies company, home, family and busisness. It's not Stephanie's responsiblity to make Sheila or any of them feel welcome anywhere. She has letted Eric and Sheila know what she was thinking. So what. And sheila and Eric vice versa. Sheila has played from day one her games, just Steph never fell for it like eric. And Stephanie was reliazing very early that something was up with sheila, that she isn't trustworty. And Eric responsible for bringing Stephanie into all of this mess, situation, postion and his personal busisness. Sheila talked the same way bad and down to Stephanie, like the other way around. And like you said, sheila is Eric's wife, busisness and responsiblity, not Stephanie's. And in Stephanies home, World, family and life Sheila wasn't welcome and she wasn't hidding that or lying about it. And why would she. There is absolutely zero reason why Stephanie would have to like, be nice, welcoming, including to any of Eric's wives. At this point Stephanie and Eric are friends, busisness partners and share children, that doesn't mean she has to like, accept or be nice to any of Eric's pole dancers, bimbos and daughter wives. And I'm saying again, if Sheila would have wanted to be part of her husbands family she could have been. And to make that happen is the responsiblity of Sheila, Eric and his children. NOT Stephanie's. Stephanie's children have proven they do what they want, not what Stephanie wants. If anyone that was insensitive, selfish, and not thoughtful here it was Eric. He pushed his bimbos (like he has with Brooke and will with all the other bimbos) down Stephanie's throat at the company, her own home and her family. He needs to stop doing that. And his prostitutes need to stop going to Stephanie's house and infiltrating Stephanie's busisness.
B&B directors are very good in creating tension, but not so good in solving it... why is everybody so stupid and comes to this appointment with Sheila? Why didn't James mention Mike to the police? That he was Sheila's accomplice while the dungeon time? Why is he still working for Forrester? How can the police be so naive and stupid and Sheila three times cleverer? Again not a really credible situation in B&B...

Why wasn’t a cop or two in the house? This is another example of poor/lazy/dumb writing. And then there is missing Maria.
Also, why didn't Maria use the kitchen entrance to go get the police?
Hey, Lt Barney Fife & team! Sheila's already in the house! 🤦🏾♀️😂
Mike does channel the bumbling Barney Fife:)
I love how Lt Burke is hiding behind the iconic fountain in the Forrester courtyard. Nice closeup of it too 😊⛲
Sheila: You’re wondering how in the world did I ever get past all of them (the police)?

He was LAST off the starting block and if it wasn't for Lauren he wouldn't have known anything about Sheila's past. In fact he didn't go to Steph and Eric to tell them about Sheila.. Lauren told them all about her in 5 minutes over the phone 🙄

( _Dylan: I knew you would love this car._ )
I thought it was Dylan's, who has now graduated from college.
@@TriniT21 That makes sense. Thank you for being the parent in this 😹❤

Good Rant…like what you said about Brooke! 👏👏👏
I 100% agree with your comment
Well said

one of the most dramatic and memorable (of the time) episodes. I was so sad when Sheila / Kimberlin left and I remember how frustrated I felt that they never even mentioned her after this episode (as if this never happened). We didn't even know weather she had survived or not.
I hear you, Angel. The next episode is very moving and reminds me of Scott's death in some ways (I'm posting something about that on the next episode). At least we know now she's not gone for long. 🙂

@@NewYorkNick0607 yeah, keep in mind that I was little at the time, and of course there was no internet back then to find out about what it was about ti happen later. This episode was broadcasted 27th or 28th of September 1995 where I live.
We do find out quite soon after the goodbye party that Sheila didn't die but that she has been locked up.
Don’t apologize. We are here for you. We all need to vent.
They all think Steph owes them something 🙄
I'll never understand, y Eric's working women can't leave Steph alone😂
lol Sheila, Brooke supported you after Bridget was determined as Ridge's, beforehand she was upset you were getting close with Eric..he was her backup

I was thinking the same thing. If they would have just hung up on her then what would have been her back up plan? 😂
it goes beyond me too
Typical Jessica being woo'd by simple items of the 1990's, like a car installed CD player! 😂
None of those supposely men (James, Rigde, Eric) in this living room are useful. None of them attacks her or are managing her or are getting the useless cops from outside.
What stupid writing is this? Dozens of cops ourside, but not one inside of the house. What training have they gotten?
They were trained by the Keystone cops.
The part that kills me.. Is when Sheila says .. "We abused THAT woman" @#$_& Please !!! 😂😂
Dylan is a character that keeps being pimped up (after the statutory rape case).
- scholarship Dylan got a car as graduation gift. He isn't a student anymore. (And soon he will get his own place )
- he has stayed away from Jessica for several months and Jessica is the one who asks him out (and will clear it with her aunt first)
- former intern Dylan has taken over Anthony's tasks and office since Ivana's death
- Dylan is smarter than his boss Sally and suspects Anthony to have murdered Ivana
While hothead Dylan needed some maturing up, that "maturing" will create more drama for Jessica and Dylan.
I'm almost positive this was due to William Bell and not Bradley Bell.
William Bell still had a lot of influence in this time
I agree completely!

Finish this Sheila episode already, it's boring.
True
This is the premiere of the toned down 1987-1995 theme. At some point in 1995, the theme will be lengthened.
So, I'm confused about this (Musician and etc here).
The audio sounds exactly the same, but this one sounds like it's muffled compared to the previous episodes. Nothing about the instrumentation or "the way it sounds" is actually different, it just sounds like the audio quality isn't as good.
@@prestonrcaseyI’m not sure what they actually changed but this sounds like the theme used until 2000 when a more substantial update was made.
The best I can describe it they just softened it slightly. I also noticed the closing had a similar adjustment. Again not sure what they would actually do to make said changes.
So ridiculous... neither man tries to overpower her?? together the two would have just grabbed her and called Burke
if Shelia's on the run how did she even get her car. They would have it confiscated by the police already. ?? It couldn't have been parked at Mike's... they would have found it already when they went to Mikes???
Sheila's pity party...
Stephanie was cruel to Sheila from day 1
B&B directors are very good in creating tension, but not so good in solving it... why is everybody so stupid and comes to this appointment with Sheila? Why didn't James mention Mike to the police? That he was Sheila's accomplice while the dungeon time? Why is he still working for Forrester? How can the police be so naive and stupid and Sheila three times cleverer? Again not a really credible situation in B&B...
