Lewis absolutely nailed it with the "nobody talks about the mid 00's to early 2010's. I love hearing about the 90's and 80's racing a bit here and there but I was born in 94. I don't give a crap about 80's supercross. I give a crap about mid 00's and up racing
I prefer that era too but to say nobody talks about it is just pure bull. That's James' era, you haven't heard his name lately huh? 🤣
Show starts at the 7 minute mark. ✌️
As someone who’s lived in both on the outskirts of town on some land, and in an apartment in urban living, Lewis is out of his mind. Having to make a bit of a drive into town for stuff is WAY less of a pain in the ass than dealing with some neighbors who have sticks up their butt 24/7.
1 Kellen where can I get that shirt ? lol
2 Lewis makes a great point. You guys found your niche talking about the 2010s era.
3 Lewis also gets extra credit this episode for mentioning Budd’s Creek as the national he’s most excited for this year. We’ll get them to roll out the red carpet for him
You guys make the internet a better place. Lewis, i had the dancing guy next to me on a 5 hour orlando to portland flight sunday. Thought of you and had a laugh.
Lewis, who hurt you?
Who didn't hurt him?
Sorry Lewis. We live on 22 acres. Someone in the family rides almost every day. Oh, and we have cows too....just saying YOU might not ride a lot but some of us do.
Shimoda has more moto wins than anyone else in the class and Lewis gave him “1 token win”. He is simply better outdoors than indoors. Lewis is either hating or needs to look at the RacerX Vault.
Jo gets a bad rap from a lot of the media members, it's not just a Lewis thing. I'm not sure why, but outside of Swap and Kellen, I'd say there's a pretty clear anti-Jo bias amongst these guys. I mean, they had a dedicated Shimoda-hater on the biggest podcast in the sport; no other rider gets that treatment. Regardless of whether you think he can win the championship, the kid's the last guy to beat Jett straight up, that speed doesn't just go away.
@@Peng924 It's an anti-American bias in the 250 class. It's not personal. Same thing with Vialle. If you didn't know better you'd have thought Deegan won that championship based on media coverage.
@@djjazzyjeff1232 One of the best things about this sport is that we get to see hard-working Americans, French, Germans, Japanese, Australians, etc. battle it out on an equal playing field. Being biased against Jo or Vialle because of where they were born is just silly in my opinion.
I don’t think he’s hating on Jo..
Shimoda only has 8 moto wins outdoors Since 2019!..
3 overall wins
And he’s a slow starter
Hope I’m wrong tho 🇯🇵
@@kw68 Jo has gotten all 8 of those wins the last 2 years though, in that same timeframe Levi has had 6 moto podiums and RJ has had 10. Jo's been getting a moto win for every moto podium those guys have been getting. For reference, over the last 2 years, Jo has gotten more moto wins and podiums than Justin Cooper. To say he might get a token win this year is frankly ridiculous in my opinion.
I feel like Steve makes them broadcast from separate locations for fear that Lewis might Attack Kellen
From what I understand, they record the podcast at Kellens' house.
Lewis sits 5ft away from Kellen on these podcasts
Blake Wharton 🤷♂️ Or you can always talk about Austin Stroupe or Nico Izzy and you’ll have something to talk about lol. Grant Langston maybe 🤔
Lewis is getting better but on the GPMX review Podcast he seems much happier and confident maybe he doesn’t think we like him but he’s really good at his job and I enjoy his perspective it’s really good.
Question does he know he keeps his arms crossed showing the closed off ness he just needs to flow it’ll go faster like he critics riders hoping it’ll help them that’s what his fans do wanting to see the best he’s got.❤
Thanks Mr. Body Language expert.... it couldn't be because he just sometimes likes to cross his arms like a lot of other people do, especially when there's no arm rest...It has to be because he's closed off from the viewers. A guy can't even cross his arms anymore without there being a know it all creating an issue out of it...
DON'T YOU DARE CROSS YOUR ARMS AGAIN, LEWIS! You keep those things either dangling at your side or straight out infront of you like you're trying to hug the air, no exceptions, we don't care if there's an arm rest or not, you will not be closed off from us.. Do the Fckn 'macarena' if you have to.... just not the crossing of the arms part of the dance... you skip that shit, obviously.
Hate to give it to him but Lewis is right about “this being the era” y’all fall back on. And it’s okay!” I’m also 27 and I totally romanticize 2000s and 2010s. All I can ever think about is the entire pc team when bagget, Deano, rattray were on it . And baggest LEAPING the 12 pack at Freestone.
Here’s a good name to discuss: Jessy Nelson. Such a ripper!
Jett goes 22-0, back to back undefeated seasons. Stamp it
Jett will win 18-22 motos
…chase isn’t close to his speed on the KTM like he was on the Honda
Hunter, ferrandis battling for podiums
In 2-3yrs you’ll all be contemplating whether or not Jett is the greatest rider to ever throw a leg over a dirtbike…
Real talk
Hymas gets a few podiums?
Who? Probably not.
@djjazzyjeff1232 what I say Hymas podium round 1
If roczen never came over to the US, would he still be racing today, and would he be seen as the greatest mxgp racer OAT?
I ate a Philly today, and it was delicious
Impressive.
Kellen is going to build a track, maintain equipment, ride, weed eat, mow, travel to the races, take care of the animals, fix the weed eater, make videos for the internet, chop wood for the fire place, work on his bikes, write editorials, go to town get food and stuff to fix stuff with, spend time with the family, go see family, and he hasn’t even changed the oil in his truck yet or gone to ride anywhere else.
Lewis is going to sit on the couch and watch TikToks and go to the relaxed on the weekends.
Both will fly out to Steve’s house for companionship.
I think y’all are sleeping on Savatgy, Apparently his absence has made him a sleeper, He’ll be a player if the bike is up to it 🤷🏼♂️
Are we completely forgetting AP7?? Or is he still injured? I think hes a pretty safe pick for 3rd in the title
Lol I’m with Lewis on the track thing, I built a mini ramp thinkin I’d hit it everyday but when u got a full time job, school, and an after hr hustle you’ll maybe ride it once a month. As a kid with no responsibilities you’ll be on it everyday but kellens a full on adult with a kid wife and career. Unless his kid is riding it wouldn’t be worth it at all
Also when it comes to land and livestock and living 30 min from the closest grocery store it all sounds like a good idea but it’s endless cost, it makes goin the the grocery or even out to eat a 1-2 hr adventure and all of that gets old real quick. Had an uncle who’s dream it was to do exactly that, built a huge house on 80 acres and had cows, horses n chickens. Lasted 5 years n he sold it to live in the suburbs cuz it was a pain in the but gettin the kids to school n doin shopping. Plus if an emergency happens it’ll take 20-30 min for cops or end to arrive so u r your own first responder. Def a harder life then it seems
City boy is all i got from this😂😂😂 who cares if a night out is a 1-2 dinner date
Watch for Hunter to surprise!
Really don't understand picking Vialle to win more motos than Deegan. Last year was as much of a learning year for Deegan as it was Vialle, being that it was his rookie season on tracks he never raced either, and he still outperformed Vialle. And his performance shown at Washougal showcasing a true "beast mode" type ride that we haven't seen since Tomac or Bagget in their 250 days really showcased how much potential Deegan has when he's feeling it. Vialle is good but he's never shown incredible speed. I imagine he wins Southwick though because he is good in the sand.
Southwick ain’t sand!
You need to get yourself to lommel 😂
You guys need to relax on the ads
Wat about forkner is he comin back?
Sounds like no
nah they found a new injury on him
I wonder if it was his eyes. They didn't say
Hopefully not, how many times does he need to be taught the same lesson?
Gosh, typical Britt. Try’s to be too clever about everything, instead of being genuine. Give me property and a track.
Levi and Deegan will be the guys this 250 season. Jett’s due for injury Sexton will be champ. Bet!
I'll bet whatever you wont there's not fking way Sexton wins another championship in either MX or SX.
Kellen talkin about riding bmx jumps in his 30s if he had land 💀 bruh you ain’t him son💯💯😭 Lewis speaking factttsss bout the bs you playin baseball outside w the homies 30 min from town🧢🧢🧢 Lewis always keepin it 💯💯
Yos!
Lol at the Google translation of that😂
@@KR15INGi thought it said yes at first, i was very wrong 😂
Hot take: shimoda faking an injury to play off the slow start
Well then deegan was faking a injury also for a excuse to lose
Yos
How do I get the google translator 😅
chase will win some races this year .
Broc Helper
A healthy Hampshire wins the 250 outdoors. He don’t need to play with Husky any longer, guy should have been on a 450 3 yrs ago. Jordan Smith as well. Too many riders with top speed are being held back due to injuries. Forkner is another who should be on a 450.
PS: Watch Barcia, he’s starting to wake up on that GasGas. That last SX he showed life again. If his endurance is there, he could run up front.
Not a age class😂 love everyone acting like it’s a feeder class like a minor league team. It’s a full on pro class just with a lower engine displacement
I’m with Lewis on this one. Kellen needs to get his head out of his a**. I’m sorry but you will not be riding your track everyday. Maybe the 1st few months. But after a while you’ll likely only ride it 10 times a year. You need equipment to build/maintain it as well. I’m glad Lewis can be realistic.
Out of the two choices living in the city would be better. But honestly both choices are kinda bad. Why not be on the outskirts of a city? Close enough to the city for activities and close enough to the track to go riding?
TRAVIS PASTRANA
Deegz gonna Smash.
I want property, no neighbors. Coffee on my porch with no noise
Guys should have went deeper into Lewis’s travel and plans before doing your sponsor readings!!… we’re here to hear what Lewis thinks about airports? Show starts at 7:00 smh
Lewis is wrong on the track bit. I have a rut track in my back field and a pitbike track in my small woods. I ride the shit out both of them 4+ days a week as long as the weather is good.
250 class watch out for rider d and Benick 450 watch out for ferandis he’s a serious title threat
Ferrandis isn't, simply because he's on a privateer team. If he breaks the top 5 I'll be impressed.
Bro you guys need to schedule a call with eachother outside of the show to talk about these side topics, im trying to listen to a moto podcast while I work and not have to look at my phone to fast forward every couple of minutes to get back to moto.
The whole point of this podcast is to talk about things not just related to moto. It's literally in the name.
@@alexlw216 gotcha, I’ll tune out while I’m at work then 😂
Lewis is the biggest helmet going! Why is he so opinionated like his somthing special and he has all the answers! Even his face winds me up
Everyone sleeping on Levi is stupid. Dude was running supercross until macadoo took him out. And sitting on RJ who just won supercross and is itchy to prove he is ready to go 450. Slobbing om deegan, kid one like 1 race last year outdoor
Lewis needs to live a little
Isn’t he living the dream?
The dudes been to more races all over the world than you could dream of!…
@@kw68 it was a joke, and you don’t know that. But good projections there “bud”. Lots of us have land and as adults, successful adults with careers still play on our land daily, he made it seem like nobody plays outside as a kid or rides everyday which isn’t true. Once again making a sarcastic comment which you obviously don’t comprehend.
