Post interview with Jett, he said he was sick with the flu and yes Chase can catch up to Jett, but Jett is sitting in management mode, but post race interview again but with Chase, Chase catches Jett, Jett turns it on to gain a gap again, Chase is quick but I think he knows he can’t race Jetts pace or that front will tuck.
As good as Jett is, he has even said himself multiple times that while there are races where he can take it down a notch and manage the race, when Chase is within 1.5 seconds there is nothing to manage... he has to go 100% and we have even seen him make mistakes from pushing. Again, he is incredible, and in my opinion even more so because he is able to go 100% and not make the big mistake. But he was definitely pushing that second moto until Chase went off the track and he gained that gap.
The other Deegan off track excursion was worse
Non-moto question, what’s your go-to sit down chain restaurant when traveling for the races? I’d go with Chilis or Texas Roadhouse
Reentering the track where you went off used to be a rule in supercross.
I remember around probably 1980 or so, Bob Hannah went off the track at the Superbowl of Motocross at the LA Coliseum during a main event on the factory Yamaha. He made an abrupt U-turn on the precious natural-grass terrain, and the rear tire dug up a good chunk in the process.

I think if Chase got the holeshot, Jett would have stalked him and passed him halfway through the race, then pulled away.
Yep With ease 😂 we haven’t even seen Jett ride 100% outdoors because he doesn’t have to!! No one has straight up beat him!! Even last year when he got a few bad starts he passed guys like they was standing still

2022 MX was the year sexton and tomac had those awesome battles. @ hangtown sexton went 2-2 his fastest lap in moto 1 was a 2:09.496 and in moto 2 a 2:11.184. Fast forward 2023 we all know jett went 1-1 every moto. His times @ hangtown moto 1 2:09.371 and moto 2 2:10.799. Close times but Jett will give sexton problems again this weekend unless he beats himself! Chase will get close and then Jett turns up the pace to 2-3 second or more gap and then ride safe. Somewhat of a Casey stoner mentality!
something like a new/improved transponder acting as a real time lit pro/gps timing device. it would at least provide actual stats to reference within a situation of concern. ie: compared to the riders average OR gap between riders OR fastest time thru the corner for the rider during that moto. then at least there’s a few different arguments based on solid split data for someone to make.

Why is it that when hunters is all over Jett everyone is saying hunter will break the streak. But when chase is all over Jett it’s just Jett toying with him. I swear people have 0 respect for chase

No way Jett will let Hunter by for the win. He will do him a favor and let him stay close if there's no other threats. No way Hunter ever beats Jett straight up! It would have to be Hunters finest ride and Jett starting dead last.
jett will never let hunter win unless hunter just out starts him and stays in first the whole time and pull away from jett and doesn’t drop off, i say never because hunter was leading that one main then jett got under pressure and just had to pass hunter

Jett’s greatest strength isn’t just his start 😂 he’s all around an alien with everything, and on a motocross track mostly that’s is his greatest strength!! He’s unbelievable riding outdoors and chase will continue to push him at 110% and make a mistake while Jett’s cruising around at 80%!! Jett’s will be the only one to beat Jett regardless!! Jett’s got everyone covered up with ease!!

You can run someone down all day, but till you close the deal. Don't mean nothing till u close it only jett can beat jett sexton is good but he's no jett only reason he won sx Title is because tomac went down and Cooper went down. It literally fell on his lap. Otherwise he's just Tuckin the front wheel. He just can't handle the pressure time and time. Again, he shows it.hes fast but an good the only way he wins any titles if it falls in he's lap
Lewis is getting so much better at this, not in quality he’s been doing that. Instead like he wants to be here, his GP one is so good that he’s made a high bar to reach. Thanks for your perspective ❤🙏

With the HRC start technology, everybody else starts on the back foot. As usual, the AMA sucks, so unprofessional. If you leave the track and don't reenter where you left, you have to come to a stop before continuing.
Lewis I think you need to adjust those rose coloured glasses you have on for Chase 50:50 or 60:40 chance of win title, Chase has yet to ever lead a single lap with Jett in it or even pass Jett ever in AMA motorcross ?? true ? Jett has yet lose even one moto let alone a race since rookie debut. Come on be real seriously. Are we really still spending this much time on Deegan Vialle lol. They have went over the footage, Vialle gained time, Haiden Lost time, that’s why Haiden wasn’t docked. And Haiden lost time 3 times and still caught Levi again all three times and Vialle got dropped. The right guy won, Vialle ended up 3rd which is what he would’ve got no matter what. Nothing changed in the long run let’s move on
You are 100% correct, watching the footage and listen to ama thoughts, vialle not only gained time but also show no caution rejoining the track, versus Deegan who not only lost time, but show concern and looking for riders and making safe decisions, like him jumping that 75 footer knowing that him rolling could cause him to be landed on
