Mmm you could prolly surprise him with something he has not done before or you all can have a trip with experience like learn something new together, have some different experience together, or plan a day trip with you all not going anywhere else but at your home coziest comfyy food with candle light dinner fav music , and then taking a long drive to any pass vala staycation , resort , spend quality time with pressuring yourself to visit places and just be in hotel room.

Mam uthink for a day or 2 silvassa would be great a option as its nearer to mumbai some 3 4hrs by car and its worth visiting accommodation is realky less priced over here as it is a union territory. Plus its called as "CHOTA KASHMIR" so maybe you can go and reminisce your kashmir trip memories again..

Firstly, thats an amazing vlog. You can use below idea
Tell him that you are hijacking and that he cannot ask any questions from the hijacker but can totally show his amusement for the same. When you stop at places continue the act or follow the hijack story just for fun.
Or
Make an excuse that you have to be urgently somewhere to visit a friend or family in need. Make it sound real urgent and tensed. And ask him to accompany you because you need his support in it.
Tell him you wanna take him for a long drive and whenever he questions how much far you guys are gonna go, just smile and keep saying its a special day and so the long drive cannot be like any other usual one right. Just a bit more.
Also, make sure you have the plan and stops properly planned. Include patches for rest and freshening up as well. Trust me its important because if you get tired on the way itself, you wont be able to enjoy the destination to the fullest.

My suggestion to you for your next trip could be that give Gerry a reason to go somewhere, like a friend's wedding, or child being born, or friend's birthday, or some kind of work related trip or some kinda' genuine excuse so that he doesn't get to know about it at all and when you do so, i would suggest you pack his bags so that he doesn't know for how many days he's going and the other knic knack details.....place could be dubai or the other idea could be a family get together on a new year's eve on a nearby farmhouse around bombay, thats my idea no.2✨....

If you like hills, you guys can do ooty, conoor, Yelagiri, Yercaud or Kodaikanal❤ Pondicherry is another very good option! I have to specify this, you must must try the traditional meal of Tamilnadu! It is served on banana leaf and the taste is to die for! You must also try sweets and filter coffee! ❤ I am literally craving for a south Indian cuisine while typing this, because it's extremely tastyyyy😂
