I love how you talk about your plans with your hair. Real ones know you've been dying your hair from DAY 1, true to this, not new to this lol. Your new growth looks amazing and I cant wait to see how it looks once its full grown out

Thank you so much!! I’m just taking y’all along for the journey. I’ve grown my hair out before with color so I know growing it out without color should be even easier.

You are not dramatic at all!!! When I was transitioning, I kept my hair braided until it was at a length I was comfortable with. And I'd do the same thing now ❤

“If I can’t do a puff, it ain’t long enough” GURL GUESS WHAT! I’m 1 yr 7 months post big chop and I can do a puff!! I got a nice puff going now and my hair is now bob length (if pulled straight) and now I’m on a journey to grow out my undercut. It’s hard to commit to growing something out but I’m determined and you’re an inspiration. If you can grow out your color, I can grow out my undercut!
@@NaturalReignI bleached my hair in 2017, it was growing long until one day my ends started breaking off. I did the big chop and started over in 2019. My hair is longer than it’s ever been
Thank you for sharing! I have damaged my hsir before with color. I have thicker hair so it took a minute but it definitely happened eventually. I hate seeing people constantly saying rude things about your hair and expecting you to be open about it. I get people wanting to help but some things came off very rude especially with you being such a nice person. At the end of the day you have fun with it because now that I stopped coloring my hair and rock it dark , sometimes I miss the fun I had when I wasnt so scared of trying new things.
I share for people like you who genuinely enjoy the transparency. I think people believe that if I knew I’d get color damage that I wouldn’t have colored it. That’s not the case. I wanted to have fun with color without all the restrictions… so I did! I love that I was able to have fun and I did it knowing my hair will grow back. ❤️

Natural hair is just not easy and when you’ve been growing your hair for so long you do grow attached so when setbacks happen they feel more major than they are. Seeing you do your thing makes me want to keep going, so I thank you for that as well.

I recommend maybe doing brown, burgundy, dark reds, dark purples, auburns You can achieve this by lightening your hair with developer ONLY (30 or 20 vol for 30-45mins) and going over with a semi permanent adore colour . That way you’re not lifting too many levels and if you get bored easily, you can switch it up often because semi permanent dye isn’t really damaging 😊

That’s definitely true if you have a lot of split ends. I wouldn’t recommend my process to everyone, but my new growth is super healthy with no breakage. I’m slowly cutting the color and making sure my ends don’t split up to my healthy hair. Also I have like 7 inches or so of color so it would take a while to break my new growth.

I’m coming back more consistently in 2024! I miss you guys and I feel like I have so much more other than hair content to share. A rebrand could be coming soon!
A few factors: Repeatedly doing highlift color, changing the color & then heat styling. Bound to happen. I bleach twice a year, protein every month, low heat. And trim every 3 months. That’s the only way for me to not be bald while blonde lol
Girl isn’t it possible though to transition out dyed hair instead of big chopping it all off? If we are able to transition from relaxed to natural and that be possible, than why can’t transitioning from heat/color damage be possible too?
i think you could try darker colors, like a deep red or purple, so the bleached hair have more depth to it, and the thinning doesent show as much, a tip from someone that also f*ckd up with bleach a few years ago xD

Why do u wanna cut the color why not dye it back black to get it healthy & keep the length?
Omg u go to USC?
Nope, but my boyfriend got his Master’s there!
Girl isn’t it possible though to transition out dyed hair instead of big chopping it all off? If we are able to transition from relaxed to natural and that be possible, than why can’t transitioning from heat/color damage be possible too?
I have been transitioning. I don’t have to big chop. It’s a choice. I won’t chop until my new growth is a place I’m comfortable with.
Oh u dyed ur hair on my birthday lol
Please do another Spanish video ❤
Should I?? I’ve been thinking about it, but my Spanish is kinda rusty. Might end up being Spanglish 😂
Girl just cut it off now lol, your new growth is long and it will still look great
Imma wait till I’m ready. I’ve always been a March to the beat of my own drum type of woman. So when I’m ready imma cut it, but not a day before 😂
@@NaturalReign Could you please do a top knot or bun before you cut it off? I would love to see you style it in a high bun please.
i think you could try darker colors, like a deep red or purple, so the bleached hair have more depth to it, and the thinning doesent show as much, a tip from someone that also f*ckd up with bleach a few years ago xD
8 inches by March??
Yup 😊
Yes cut it off so we can see that flourishing hair bc it’s past peaking sis it’s like I’m here move over
TH TH TH TH TH THICK!! 🫶🏽😭
You hear me?!?! 😂
I never seen anyone who’s dyed their hair and it’s remained healthy. It’s always inevitably going to be damaged
I was good for about 5 years if you check my old videos when I had red hair. I didn’t bleach and my hair was very healthy.
Why dont you trim the ends and dye all the hair dark.
I do trim my ends and I’m just going to enjoy dyeing the bleached part until I’m ready to big chop.
Greetings Reign...will you be cutting the color off? TFS
Yes I will! I’m gonna cut sometime next year, but I haven’t set an official date.
Don't cut your hair just dye to your real hair
You still have a beautiful head of hair but I know color scares me.
Oh, I just HAD to subscribe to you after I heard you say you feel like a caterpillar becoming a butterfly because I love that & it hit me hard af. I just dyed my hair while turning SEMI Natural and that’s exactly how I feel rn A Caterpillar 🐛 🥲
Then you know there’s more growth to come! Hair and life are both a journey.
@natualreign. Lazy natural you my girl!!!!!!!! Heart
