Thank you for this very useful video. I just had a question. If we lower the oven temperature do we need to bake longer so it cooks completely? Many Thanks! All the very best for your channel!
hey thanks for your comment. Ok so typically no, I've found the same baking time is fine. However to make sure they are cooked pop a toothpick through and ensure it comes out dry (not sticky) and it's cooked. For cupcakes, the average time on this temp is 20-22 mins, which is the same as a higher temp. Hope this helps and happy baking :)
For sure, depends on quantity so you can research that part but essentially it’s: Same amount of flour, sugar, butter and eggs Whip butter and sugar until white Add one egg at a time Stir in flour Dash of milk Presto! They come out so perfect every single time Make sure all ingredients are full fat and use salted butter 💫
Yes! For sure. This usually means too much moisture/oils Best way is to ensure your cake tins are super clean - use vinegar for that or the dishwasher I find those to be the most effective It happens and it’s very normal but it can be avoided with this right approach. Also try to fill them up enough sometimes it can be due to under filling :)
Nice to have a video that get straight to the point. Thank you so much

Hi, i have convection oven. Do i need to switch on the fan or just upper and lower heat will do?
Fan is better as it’s a slightly more consistent heat 😊
Do you use hot-air baking? Thank you
Yes I do!
Now I'm seeing the light lol. So about the batter, if I have to put buttermilk does that have to be room temperature before adding it to the batter?
I would bring it out of the fridge 20 or so mins before baking :)
How long do you leave them in?
Good information
Hi, do you have a cupcake recipe? Thanks x
Do u have to add 3 or 4 tbsp of batter?
Do u have to place 3 or 4 tbsp?
Hey Nadia I love ur videos
even my name is Nadia
👌🏽 awesome! Thanks
Hi have you ever experienced your cupcake cases peeling away after your bake them
Yes! For sure. This usually means too much moisture/oils
Best way is to ensure your cake tins are super clean - use vinegar for that or the dishwasher I find those to be the most effective
It happens and it’s very normal but it can be avoided with this right approach. Also try to fill them up enough sometimes it can be due to under filling :)
So you always put the cupcakes on the top shelf of the oven? Or is that just for many batches?
Ideally always at the top however if you have loads of batches you can place them throughout the oven
How long do you preheat the oven for?
15 mins should be fine for most ovens :)
Why do we want flat cupcakes instead of domed?
Easier to decorate - except for tall standing swirls where a dome can be helpful
My cupcakes rise too much what to dooo? Recipe was the same. But idk they didn't came out well
Try turning down your oven next time and filling them just slightly less. That should fix :)
