Why is grading so expensive?

Grading coins can be an expensive, risky endeavour. Grading has added some consistency to the trade, but has also introduced unfortunate side-effects. Many collectors catch themselves buying the grade and not the coin. We need a solution... and in this video I share my thoughts.
