Let's be honest, samyang is easily the better instant noodle because of the quality is far higher but it's expensive. Value wise, nothing compares to Maggi. It's still be number one in terms of having it stocked in your kitchen all the time. Samyang is more like a special occasion noodle. Not practical to have it all the time. RM5 for one packet is just too much la. Maggi the best!

In Malaysia when people say "kicap" they are not reffering to the western version of ketchup which is usually the tomato ketchup. When we say "kicap" we are referring to the soy sauce with a variety of version, be it thick, light liquid, salty or sweet. When Logesh say sweet "kicap" flavor..I smile. He's truly Malaysian. 👍

That Mi Goreng Cili Ala Kampung is amazing! I bought it tonight on your recommendation and jazzed it up with eggs, spring onions (green onion) and crushed peanuts! Looking forward to trying the Sambal Tumis.

hai from brunei, im a fan of u guys. just wanna share my meggi kari recipe with u guys. meggi kari with yeo's curry beef is the bomb and this is how u cook it(note: for 2 packet of meggi) 1. put 500ml of water in your pot , 2. put the yeo's curry beef aswell as the meggi kari power into the pot before it boils, 3. wait for it to boil then put in the mee in the pot and wait for around 2min or depending on how u like the thickness of the broth is. i personally like it thick. enjoy
after watching this video I have strong urge to try Pedas Giler and Cili Ala Kampung and Sambal Tumis.siut aje Maggi dan Kumaar Family berjaya bikin daku teringin makan Maggi.

talking about recipe, my mom made it like this:
- maggi curry
- shallot
- cabbage
- tomato
- egg
stir fry shallot, add curry powder and cook till "pecah minyak", add water (not too much) and cabbage, wait till water boils, add noodle, then egg roughly scramble it, and close the sauce pan with lid. when egg looks cooked to your liking, add tomato and wait aome more till tomato cooked to your liking.
serve and makan.
ps it shouldn't look too soupy.

Pair it with a Milo ais, teh ais or kopi ais to give that Malaysian mamak restaurant feel!

I do this at home and it’s really good! This is the recipe which I tried and recently shared on my FB (feel free to taste and tweak for your liking):-
Ingredients:
3 packet maggi curry big
1 x bawang merah
1 x local sawi
1 x bawang putih
1 x tauhu goreng
1 x limau nipis
3 x eggs
1 x red chilli
Some dark soy sauce
Some chili sauce
Some mixed veges (optional)
Some sliced fish cake (optional)
Method:
1. Boil noodles
2. Stir fry bawang merah and garlic until fragrant
3. Throw in sawi and mixed vege
4. Add in eggs and mixed until fully cooked
5. Drain water from noodles
6. Add noodles into your wok
7. Add tauhu goreng and chilli
8. Add dark soy sauce and chili sauce to taste, and pour all maggi curry seasoning powder (no need to add salt)
9. Stir until everything is mixed properly
10. Plate them up and slice some limau nipis and put them at the side of the plate
Important note: don’t overboil noodles before frying.
I also from Klang, Logesh, MAGGI KARI is always also my ever forever number one Favourite to, Logesh. Respect and salute to your wife Rachel brave to try Malaysian Food even spicy.
