Pat Verbeek pushes Steve Sullivan and then gets destroyed by Wendel Clark.
Then Grant Ledyard and Darryl Sydor team up on Tie Domi and he tries to take them both on at the same time. This had been brewing all game.
This game is from the 1996-1997 season.

I miss old hockey all together. I was a wings fan when we have Probert and Kocur, and could not wait to play the Leafs, Blackhawks, and espcially the Avalanche. Those guys all beat the snot out fo each other, but a lot of them were really good friends off the ice.
To be honest, I think hockey is boring, they fights are what made the crowds explode with excitement, and made those rivalries what they were.
I remember going to see the Wings play the Avs, during that huge rivalry and going fromt he parking complex to the arena, you could just feel the electricity in the air. Hockey just doesn;t have that any more, and I blame 100% of it on Bettman. He took a once great sport and tried to turn it into a money machine.

He wouldn't have to answer any questions about doping because he could simply exercise his right to remain silent - however, you've posted public comments of accusations about him you cannot prove, now I'm no lawyer, but I reckon you'd have more of a case to answer for than him.

Not to say all the players from back then were tough guys because that's far from true.

Dustin Byfuglien of the Winnipeg Jets, 6'5, 264lbs. Notice how nobody in the league ever tries to fight him lol.

I LOATHE Tie Domi. Once when this little POS was a 3rd Man in against a Flyer; Luke Richardson went after him and ran behind a ref.

It's not on UA-cam, but I saw hi-lites (or the game???) where Tiger Williams went toe to toe with a Buffalo player I believe it was(?), and any mortal player at the end of that tilt would have been out of the game with exhaustion, but incredibly after he fought this tough guy, another guy stepped in and said something to Tiger, and Tiger immediately went toe to toe with him, 2 toe to toes with 2 different tough guys one right after the other, I couldn't believe it, but Tiger was always on the prowl and ready to "shock the world"-Muhammad Ali-he admires Muhammad Ali, and Tie Domi greatly admires Dave "Tiger" Williams!!!!!

Domi was a tough SOB. Always hated him because he was on the opposing team. But in all honesty if he would have been on my team I would have loved him. He seems like a pretty good guy off the ice as well.
Hockey was GREAT when guys like Domi, Probie & co played.
