It was nice meeting you out in Portland, Ben. As I mentioned to you at the booth, I only joined the PC-FX owners' pool this past spring and it was a nice surprise to hear that there's such a passionate community out there for the console. It's a shame that there aren't more people aware that there was a successor to the Turbo-Grafx that we never got in America. I couldn't imagine that there would be near as much apathy if gamers learned out there was another Atari after Jaguar or Sega after Dreamcast. I don't know about other West Coast cons, but I'm sure several of the East Coast ones would have space for a PC-FX panel. (It sounds like something that would be in the wheel house of Hartford, Syracuse, or Long Island. RetroWorld Expo in Hartford is the only place I've seen the PC-FX on the vendor floor.)
Nice to hear that Rolfee is still doing her job at drawing eyes as the system mascot. I can't imagine it being easy deseminating info on it when people expect you to be a vendor table too. At least emulation is in a decent place given how expensive the system is now. Nice to hear Can Can Bunny mentioned. Still have yet to attend a gaming convention, but I'm glad to hear things went well.
@@SpectrumReviews No, Team Innocent isn't done. It's just about playable start to finish though. There's more we'd like to polish, and potentially a some left to translate. We might release an early build depending. Keep an eye out, but don't get too excited. It might still be a little bit. 😄
Random thing, I had Kana from HuneX Fighters as a fighter in Mugen (the fight game engine thing) and seeing her in this video was such a shock hahahaha.
I had stumbled across someone doing a blog post about porting them into Mugen forever ago. Curious how many people ended up with them lol. I've never seen them in Mugen myself.
@@pcfxfanclub the one I found was from at least 10 years ago, unfortunately compared to the other fighters I had back then she was very underpowered, so needless to say she wasn't very good! Will check HF98 and see if that's just how characters are balanced there.

Hey sorry for the late reply! It was a pleasure to meet you too!
I'll definitely keep an eye out, I really appreciate it!
Shout out to Team Innocent :)
Best game of the system

I couldn't make it to PRGE this year, might goto midwest gaming classic. Is Team Innocent translation completed?

31:04 what brand of tvs are connected here for the sega cd?
Not sure! PRGE has a number of them though.
