These are one of the Best inventions in camping gear. After having gone through 3 airbeds in 3 years, We have had these foam mats for 14 years now, and they are Seriously FANTASTIC. We usually put them on top of a foldable camp bed, but we have also used them straight on the floor on short trips. Seriously Brilliant, but make sure you get the Thickest ones possible, 10 Cms. thick. They are the Best.
My two year old wide boy failed on both the valves where the fabric joins , terrible design what guarantee is there these valves will not fail because the fabric is glued to the valves the same way as far as i can see. 65 pounds down the drain!
atommachine generally we don’t tend to get many issues with these types of valves on SIMs and they are a lot more reliable than Airbeds. Have you tried repairing around the valve by re-gluing it?
@@AttwoollsCoUk I am waiting on a repair kit as my glue tube was dry when i opened it . I have the Kampa patches so i will do all 8 corners of the valves it would be such a waste to throw it away it was a great air bed. Thanks for your reply.
I appreciate the effort put into the video. Very informative.

Excellent video! 📼
I also use mine as a exercise mat.
And I thought my sleeping bag and tent were bulky 😭😭😭
I can’t get mine to deflate
Have you rotated the valve to open? Sometimes it can take a bit of strength to get all of the air out but you can do it in stages.

I'd love one of these but, compared to my inflatable airbag they are huge when packed up.
Great video though 😎👌
