You guys did an awesome job of working together to get this roll accomplished. I love both parts of the video. I think you guys did a great job out on site and back in your yard. Take care and keep it safe!
You could have picked the chassis from the side with the telehandler. They weigh around 7,000 pounds and that 534D-9 is a 9,000 pound lift. We used to unstack them 3 high.
Trent several years ago tow companies had a set of wheels that they could put in place of the destroyed wheels to use when vehicles were screwed up either front or rear ends. With that trailer as screwed up as it is. #1. So, why not do that. #2. It could be a Godsend saving time and energy. #3. Then you would have another package of wheels to do the job. I know, it is just a thought that could save you in the long run. Yup, this old buzzard does see things that we used to use 40 years ago that saved time.
I think he said in a previous video that they had a set. But this was obviously faster then getting that broken set off and replacing it with a good one.
Over the years you've been pretty clear about the brand "Landoll" for the type of flat trailer, but I keep hearing "Landau" as in the kind of vinyl layer added to car roofs, mainly due to how many people mispronounce 'Landau' as 'Landall'.
Q,could you have spun the container with just the Rotator? With the container on its side ,back 90 deg in the middle, and roll or pivot the container while half is on the ground ? How did your dad train you? Was it get stuck in and having a try with some guidance or was over your shoulder every step of the way ,?
Yes could have very easily been done that way but most the time on the freeway you don’t have the liberty to do that and block the whole freeway. Took it as a training opportunity
