If you want to drive a realy F1 car you have to pay around 3-7000 euros (depends wich car and how many laps)
I guess it would be more relevant to compare this car to a GP2, since the GP2 Championship replaced the F3000 series

You can drive the real 90s F3000 car on your own in czech republic. Ex Mark Webber car. Cost around 1500 a day.
These are the chassis from the Formula Palmer Audi series that ran in the late 90s.
schumiisking As someone that works at Palmersport, as an instructor, I think you'll find I'm talking anything but my friend ;) the bodywork has obviously been modified post-series, as well as the cockpit to update them and make them usable for the general public, and of course Audi's turbo lumps were replaced with the Jaguar when JP had Jaguar backing (their JPLM cars have the same engine, and they used to use XKRs in Palmersport's infancy) especially since the Palmer Audi chassis are pretty much two decades old but, sir, you are most definitely wrong. 😎

There is a cracking advert for Palmer Sport racing experiences before the WTF1 video starts showing the Alonso t-shirt.
I definitely preferred the editing in this video over the CT video. Even though I would have liked to see a full on board lap, you still shared enough footage to make it really enjoyable. Alex made his video about his visit a bit too quick and jumpy. It was like a condensed highlights video.
No doubt this car is detuned from its original specification. Very evident in the audio and acceleration. There are many F3000 onboard videos of hill climb cars and they are way faster than this. Makes sense from a business stand point since engines and transmissions are not cheap!
There is an easier way... sell EVERYTHING (including your kidney) you own except for a helmet and a race suit and buy an old F1 car...

Barrichello said in an interview a year ago that shifter karts are the closest thing that is available commercially. Ofcourse it does not have the downforce, but the power to weight ratio of a kart can represent what it would be like to drive a F1 car with such power

there's my local track here where you can legit drive an F1 car, its one of the cars that Alain Prost used, don't remember the name, for 1.5K€ for 1 day

In Finland there's a company that lets you drive a 2007 Williams FW29 5 laps for 1690 € plus 15 minutes in a Formula Renault 2.0 as training
Here in Finland they have 2 Williams F1 cars from 2007, you can get to drive for payment and some lucky ones get to do it for free by participating in competition that Finnish F1 broadcaster has organized.

In finland one guy rents a 2008 williams (nico rosbergs car) for a drive. i think it costs like 1200€ a day and it includes training with a f3000 car first.

There is a UA-camr called Vehicle Virgins, and he in October 2018 he drove the Jaguar R1 or the Arrows A22 in Dubai. So I think that is as close as you can get to driving an F1 Car. Driving an F1 Car.

There is formula 500 experience in yes Marina Abu Dhabi .. I guess it's way much faster than the Palmer sport formula
I've driven this at palmersport and it was OK but didn't blow me away. They are only 250bhp. It probably is the closest thing any member of the general public will get but still miles away. Oh and mine broke down so I only had about 3 laps in it.

Most close thing to drive a f1 car is to drive an f1 car, but its not cheap i think its around 4000€ for 10 laps+ practice with something slower

You can buy an experience at LRS formula.com. Literally drive a V10 F1 car jaguar cosworth. And V8 Williams. Does cost 10K though.
I've seen a company in slovenia that offers driving an F1 car from different years and on different curcuits...driving 1994 jordan in catalunya for 3 laps is 21 000€😂😂😂😂
