Oh I hadn't seen that! (I don't have Bubble, and so I rely on Bubble screenshots making it to my Twitter haha) I agree! I feel like if I was completely unaware of Bye Bye Bye, I would think it was just part of Chk Chk Boom, it was SO seamless, and well produced! Chan and Versachoi did a phenomenal job!
Thank you for sharing your reaction with us. I totally agree with you about low-voice Chan. When Stray Kids said that they were going to do a tribute to 90s boy bands, they MEANT it. I love that this performance wasn't just about one of the world's biggest K-pop groups performing a Western hit, it was also about them showcasing their OWN music, style & production while also honoring the influence that mainstream Iconic boybands like NSYNC. 🖖🏽
100% this! I realised after recording, because of how little I was aware of NSYNC and 90s boy bands generally (I wasn't overly a fan of boy groups growing up), that there were so many references and things that I just straight up missed! Stray Kids did an amazing job of taking those references and fusing them with their own performance, and their own sound through the choreography and the Chan/Versachoi production!
Yep! I understand why Felix does it -- he's openly said (I believe) that he likes to focus on his dancing, so it's obvious that a hand mic would be problematic for that aim, as he'd be worrying, as another commenter said, about potentially dropping it! I know in the past Seungmin has gotten frustrated at headset mics on stage -- like I've seen clips -- and I don't blame him 😆

Lee know hates headset mics too 😅 That’s why he doesn’t use them any more 😂😂😂
I don't blame him 😆 That being said, I can't overly complain about the levels in this performance on the headset mic 😆
