Christone "Kingfish" Ingram (born January 19, 1999) is an American blues guitarist and singer from Clarksdale, Mississippi, United States, who became a well-known performer as a teenager. His debut album, Kingfish, was released in May 2019. In addition to his own albums, musicians he has recorded with include Eric Gales, Buddy Guy and Keb Mo. He has shared the stage with well-known blues artists and younger blues musicians such as the Tedeschi Trucks Band, Samantha Fish, Bob Margolin, Eric Gales, Mr sipp, Rick Derringer, Guitar Shorty and Buddy Guy.
I feel condident in saying...there are FEW guitarists in the WORLD who could play with the tone, the soul, the technique that this young man can...all while singing too..
I agree, i bought his cd there for him to sign up for me, another cd coming next month, i wish him well on his future very fun concert that day :)
I'd love to play on stage with that young man...love me a good Texas shuffle blues....

I'm a classical trained professional and realize, people are constantly talking about child prodigies in Classical Music, esp. Violin and Piano. Great to hear a more than talented young Blues Guitarist. Go Kid! Damn right! You got the Blues from your head down to your shoes!
I've seen tis young brotha' live 4 times.Can't wait 'till the 5th.It was worth the drive to Memphis and Clarksdale.
It was a fun experience, met some great people heard some great music and had some good food, the Stone Pony Pizza was my favorite!

It was a fantastic trip and seeing Kingfish was a pure joy, had a few moments to take pics, sign a cd up even singed a guitar for us for a giveaway at a future blues festival. SUPER fun day and was very happy to be able to share this with everyone to showcase his new cd and talent. - Bill :)

Thx for posting the entire concert. The 2021 JJF got even better. Pent up demand by both artists and audience made pure magic. KF kept popping up jamming with his lifelong friends and instructors. The local musicians added to the magic- Luscious Soiller, Stan Street, Lee Andrew’s, Jax Massar, LaLa Craig , Heather Crossse, and many others.
But when KF Asked to try Dylan”s skateboard at sound check I had to step in to save his hands! NO SKATEBOARD, KF!’
It was one for the ages!

I think in order to truly appreciate this man's talent, one must be OLD like myself. I just learned about him from the 7/31/2022 Washington Post article and have become completely taken with his incredible clarity, versatility, tone, and ability to play with ANYONE. I swear he is the most AMAZING guitarist I have heard in at least 50 years and I have listened to nothing else since I discovered the wealth of UA-cam videos available-this one being one of my favorites along with his 22nd Birthday Concert. Thank you Kingfish and may you deliver a powerful message to a world that sorely needs it, for MANY YEARS to come! And PLEASE find a way to come to Minneapolis SOON...

Makes it look easy, never know whether to be inspired or if I should give up guitar playing. I would love to see the show live, not sure if he every gets up to the northwest. I hope he gets the success he deserves as a great blues player. I did learn my lesson with BB King. He played Jackson, WY. I didn't make the show, now I will always wish I rescheduled my life to make the show.

first of all ..I don't play guitar or bass well..I suck.but I do play the trumpet and have played with a lot of I , myself and me is and are from a non guitar playing perspective. Chisto is the man .. he really is the best there is guitar wise and vocally bar nun .. Gary Clark jr is good too but ..Kingfish can really sing

Love kingfish but his fieldman on the mixer should go. Should sound much better. Damn shame
