Nice looking build quality and that's coming from someone who worked for Intermeccanica in the late 70s. Personally I would like to see that car without a shitton of clear over the paint...I think you guys would notice the trim pop alot more as a result.
$2524 for a 1600, $2764 for a Super, $3794 for a 1500 Carrera GS In 2023 dollars: $30,288 for a 1600, $33,168 for a Super, $45,528 for a 1500 Carrera GS plus tax, license and dealer markup 😃 In 1968 I bought a 1958 Speedster with Colorado plates for $1700 it had about 40,000 miles on it and was hopelessly rusted out. I sold it a year later for $1600 after doing major engine work, some rust repair including a complete paint job and replacing the tires. I was a student and had to sell it because I was getting married. Still have the wife, we've had four more Porsches. Life is good but I still want the Speedster back.
OMG…..the grandfather to my low slung 1990 944s2 Cabriolet, in Baltic Blue. It is absolutely gorgeous. Mine has full leather in linen (an off-white)…but I’ve given serious consideration to redoing my interior to tan. I think this video may be just what I needed to “pull the trigger”. I’m in my late 60s, retired Navy and retired federal LEO. Watching this video is as close as I’m ever going to get to one of these. Bravo-Zulu, very well done, to whoever specked out this build!!!
Having owned a real speedster in my youth (1968) nice replicas like this always excite me until I see the floor. That VW tunnel and the fancy carpeting just ruin it for me. At least this one doesn't have the VW emergency brake between the seats.
The price on these replicas has become insane. Cheap drivetrain, fiberglass and limited interior. I bought one in 2019 for $26500. Costs have gone up for materials but give me a break. Sucker born every minute I guess
very nice, but for new car a six MONTH warranty is LUDICROUS. Should be six YEARS. Also you give no specs, hp, torque, performance etc. THis is just a TEASE. You seem to be playing games by not being up front with the price, too. I will not bite.
@@rodneypratt4324 hey I like those rascals just fine! But I'm old, tall and fat, so even if I could fold myself up like a jack knife and get in one, you could sell tickets to watch me get OUT of one! I'm no snob, my cars in the 90s were the old Datsun Primitives, 240Zs. Had 3 different ones, and what fun! I had a Client in my Barbershop back then, super nice guy named C. Espenlaub, he did endurance races in Miatas...
Even though it’s a replica, as soon as he used the word “Porsch” instead of Porsche, I turned off video. He obviously has no respect or knowledge of the brand

I’d love to have one at 1957 prices ❗️🇺🇸

Absolutely gorgeous. ❤️🥊
Considering how often a car like this would actually be driven, a six month warranty is not near enough.
Indeed. I got a one year warranty on a ‘used’ 20 year old motorcycle in Cambodia, FFS. 😂
Great price really. Better than an original with the same experience driving. Really well done.
Stunning👍
I'd love one if they could put real coupe seats in one!!!
Coupe seats were an option but only sissies bought them.
I was in the navy stationed charston s c in 1969. Bought a 59 conv d. very rare auto for $500 drove it home to Baltimore never should have sold it
I might have missed it, but what are you asking for this beautiful car?

Should have gone with a 5 spd.
The tach wasn't working. Should look at that
Oops, something broken already.

how much will you take for her?
you can see the price on my website, www.cloud9classics.com Thanks!
$74,500
@@mwinner101I would get a Boxster for that….but if you want the Speedster vibe…this is the way to go.
Wondering when they will start making replica Porsche 912’s? Same engine as the speedster basically.
What engine is in this?
Beautiful job, but manufacturer must not have much faith in quality to only guarantee for six months.
Sharp as can be
Nice Beetle
Bathtub actually. A gorgeous bathtub.
@@jjhpor That too.
Dear Santa...
AquaMarine blue🤭
My wife is NOT Happy about that
6 month warranty..? My Kia has 5 years..!
No engine video….and price?

$75k for a Volkswagen power train and a fiberglass body…
As opposed to 220 thousand for a Volkswagen engine on a Porsche frame with Porsche body, and thousands and more thousands for repairs over ten years
