Listen to Freddie King's version with Leon Russell on keys...saw them in 71 in Arlington, Texas, and have loved both of them since. Freddie used to hang out at Mother Blues in Dallas....

Cains Ballroom has a wooden floor, and I could feel the energy from the floor vibrating and through the air, vibrating my bones .. No chairs so standing the whole time .. That's an experience you don't get just from videos .. the headphones help alot though

Live grainy gritty video of Stevie Ray Vaughn and Jeff Beck (another Brit guitar god) on tour together doing "Going Down" smokes this. Stevie is so animated and stoked to be with him. Joe is accomplished and polished. I want my blues with a little more grease.

If your looking for an incredible solo may I suggest a song however by Gary Moore IMHO the greatest guitar player who ever lived and his live rendition of the Messiah will come again No lyrics just a long incredible solo leaving you believing the Messiah has come again and he is playing the guitar
