In This video I'll be trying local food, visiting cafe Piriquita and checking out Pena Castle.
We also going to explore the outer walls, eat a variety of Portuguese petiscos at Tascantiga, check out Sintras' signature pastry and head back to Lisbon to watch epic sunset views from the Santa Luzia viewing platform.

I love Lisbon! Sintra was a pleasant surprise. Such a beautiful place! The palace of Pena is one of the best I've seen!
Unsurprisingly I fell in love with Lisbon: super friendly people, rich history and super yummy delicious seafood - I'm literally sold! It was also cool to experience Sintra during summer - the town had so much energy and buzz in comparison to our winter visit three years ago.
I loved Porto and Sintra. We spent about a week in all three places: Porto , Lisboa and Sintra. Would go back in a heartbeat!

Cheerio, yeah it's truly one of a kind spot. My main takeaway is that you really need to manage your time well if you want to see the main attractions and it does get really hot up there!

I know this isn't Portugal related but hear me out! I watch WRC rally events (racing in the backwoods around the world) and this weekend the WRC rally is in Estonia! They just did a little special in Tallinn, you have a very beautiful city! Most of the racing is done in the countryside tho, so I mostly see all the green farm parts of Estonia, very beautiful to watch. Anyways, I better press play on this video now! :P
Oh, we have rallies every year here - it's huge in Estonia! I don't really watch rally events but every bar and pub in Tallinn is broadcasting it, so it's impossible to miss! We have some cool rally tracks in the southern part of Estonia, close to Tartu (the second largest city in Estonia) and they have massive celebrations there during the rally weekend! Didn't know you are the rally fan though :)

I'm hoping to spend a day in Sintra when I'll be in Portugal in October. I have a question. If I don't buy the ticket for the interior of Pena Palace but for the grounds only could I still walk along the exterior of the castle and see the views?
Yes, with just the Pena Palace ticket you can see the grounds, the castle itself and walk on the exterior of the castle. With the interior ticket you will be able to see 10-12 rooms inside the palace itself (if you are short on time, i would potentially skip that option and just enjoy the grandness of the castle itself).
@@ClassicPolly Thanks for your response. I will only buy the ticket for the grounds. It'll save me having to wait in the long lineup and I'll save money too.
Do you need to pay to be on the outside walls?
If I remember correctly you only need to buy a ticket to see the inside of the palace. The outside walls are free to roam.
