Dave Ward Yeah no doubt man, He could absolutely without a doubt fill in for Slash no matter what the circumstances. The improvs are so Slashy that you'd be hard pressed to tell if it was Niko on a recording. This almost like having new material to listen to.

The story of this song is pretty awesome. To make a long story short, this was a special gem that Slash was holding onto. Axl OD'd and the last part of the song manifested itself. Axl said when he came to, it just came to him. He considers the ending of this song some of his best work.

I just recently got comfortable using the pinkie instead of the ring finger for power chords and it just feels so powerful. It is way easier to move the shape around the neck and hit hard power chords on the top of the neck
