I had these 6-6.5” Toro subs in my F150 and I replaced them with 6-6.5” Ct Mesos with a JP23 amp and I love the way they bump man…CT Sounds brand so unrated though
Thank you for your comment …that’s something I didn’t care about much the reason why is because there are air vents in the center console facing the rear seats. But there is a way to keep the air vent under the seat exposed by adding spacers under the amp rack mounting points.
It’s real easy to make brother…1/4” inch thick particle board from Home Depot if you can find ABS or Blown PVC even better. Cut out a piece of cardboard use that as template drill out wiring holes and mounting holes then transfer that to your board and done..you got yourself a clean amp rack .!!!
@@SpinningwrencheswithJ I'm definitely trying to watch it really closely because I do have the stock radio too and I see you do too but I'm doing my amp and my LC2I in the cargo area not under the passenger seat
Finally!! I've been waiting for someone to make a video like this. 😅 thank you!
Thank you 🙏🏽…I hope it was helpful. If you have any questions please let me know.!!
Great work!
Which was positive and negative on the pink apeaker wires you found on the back of the radio. Any info is greatly appreciated
Purple and green are the positive for both channels
I recommend going to a 0 gauge wire soon because I almost burned my 4Runner down I was only running 2 SDR 10s on 1600 boss amp
@@GrimyDriver Well that sucks man…I’ll keep that in mind thanks.!!
Cool build, try installing some 8inch ct sounds meso. I had two of them and a 1200watt amp and it rattled my wife’s van.

Great budget build looks really good.🔥
Thank you 🙏🏽
Are those 8 inch subs ?? Are they wired at 1ohm or 2ohm?? And what size amp?? Skar Brand right ??
Thank you for your comment, No these are Toro 6.5” subs wired at 2 ohms on 1200 watt Skar amp.
Nice setup. Did the amp mount plate had to block and cover the air duct under the passenger front seat?

Ok got ya. Proud owner of a 2023 4RUNNER SR5 Premium here.
@@teddynaicker2997 same here man…I love mine.!!
those vents will help cool the amp rack now lol@@SpinningwrencheswithJ
@@RedDevilTuning they sure will…
Damn, that looks sick
Thank you.!!!
Man I need to find a base plate for an amp like yours! That’s awesome, I’d much rather do that than mount on carpet

Just bought a sundown sa some some 12. With a 1600w amp and the lc2i. I was trying to figure out how to wire it in mt 4runner i have a 22 sr5
That’s going to sound crazy man…if you watch my video closely I show you how I did it and which wires I tapped in to behind the radio.

That’s fine you can run your signal wires anywhere in the truck then connect them to the LC2i
@@SpinningwrencheswithJ sweet. Hopefully it'll be a easy install. Have to figure out how to take the radio out now lol
Swap those subs for 3 twelves by Bamf Power Acoustic's you will never look back for the price.
This is my wife’s truck, it’s loud enough for her.!!
Nice Skar is not bad prefer Rockford Fosgate have done a lot of thumping Systems. But getting tired of sacrificing the cabin space for the Subs.
Thank you for your comment…!!
