Good question 👍. Male scaly breasted Munia has chestnut brown face, throat and breast. underparts boldly scaled with black, olive -yellow to rufous orange on uppertail- convert and edges of tail. Female had uniform brown upperparts and buff to rufous - buff underparts. They have no spots on their underparts.
Hello Mohan, I've seen red Munias in wild, I've observed them feed mainly on grass seeds, foraging on ground as well as in rice paddy and millet fields. They take insects, such as termites, small mealworms, waxworms, fruit fly larva, especially to feed the young/fledgling. If you are breeding the birds in cage, I don't know to tell you. Because, I've seen Munias only in wild.

And about Tricolour Munia, both look the similar, except the beak of the female bird is little smaller.
