This is the first time I’ve ever seen that, especially with a murder verdict. I wonder if that’s an indication of how lenient or severe her actual sentence will be as well.
I feel no sympathy whatsoever for the defendant. She is responsible for the death of the little girl. The moment she took on the responsibility to care for her, ‘forgetting’ is not only irrelevant, it’s criminal.
She ran passed the mother who came to pick up her baby and where did she go? She went straight to her own car. That tells me everything I need to know.
No, there is to be a PSI prior to sentencing. No date has been scheduled. It does appear they are allowing her to continue out on bond though despite the 3rd degree murder charge!
In her own statement to the police she acknowledged that she was aware that the Ariya was in the back seat, 4:58:51 she said, the baby was in the back because she was asleep….. I went inside
I just played your time stamp, her voice cracks but what she said was the baby was back there asleep and because she was so quiet I forgot she was there. Her scheduled days of having the baby with her had changed. I’m still as confused as everyone else though about how people forget they left a human being in their car! It makes no sense.
one thing i did notice, is that when the prosecutor asked "... its you're fault that Ariya is dead..." she didn't answer with a direct and clear "yes" . She should have. She should have replied "yes" and then she could have proceeded to explain whatever she might have felt she needed to explain smh
@@BeckyP-3it’ll go based on her criminal track record in accordance with the guidelines. If she’s not a repeat offender or never had a run in with the law, she’s less likely to serve much time. She’ll remain on bond because the nature of the crime isn’t necessarily something that’s a threat to the community.
@ I hadn’t heard the verdict. 3rd degree murder is < time. She’s facing 10-15. I woulda thought the manslaughter would be < than murder. I’m shocked it’s the opposite.
I'm sorry, this prosecutor is a brute. I hope Brooke & Justus were not present for this closing. This was a tragic accident, it's awful. Parents have done the same & not been charged in other cases, other states. It's devastating. The jury got it right. This guy has sucked, imo
A person is guilty of murder in the third degree if they unintentionally kill another person while committing or attempting to commit a non-violent felony. It was a Horrible Terrible Accident, and she did take responsibility of her mistake, unfortunately the mistake does have consequences and I feel the jury was right.
Hopefully she’ll get the 15 yrs for 3rd degree murder. And NEVER watch another kid.
I don't think she should ever be allowed around children again unsupervised
She only puts on her little act when the jury is there
Why are they allowed to continue out on bond once found guilty??
This is the first time I’ve ever seen that, especially with a murder verdict. I wonder if that’s an indication of how lenient or severe her actual sentence will be as well.
Yeah usually they are to be remanded into custody weird.
She's not a violent threat to her community nor to those involved in this case.
She should have been guilty of aggravated manslaughter too.
Well of course she is guilty, the question is to what degree and what punishment?
Justice is served!! RIP baby girl. Prayers for all involved.
She denied a drug test that pretty much should've made a huge difference in a verdict.
When did she deny a drug test? The day it happened?

Nobody wins here! Just so incredibly sad.
Absolutely agree
So unfair she’s out on bond until sentencing 😡😡
3rd Degree Murder and OUT on bond ?? Seriously ??
She will be monitored like she's been this whole time she has an ankle monitor on
She ran passed the mother who came to pick up her baby and where did she go? She went straight to her own car. That tells me everything I need to know.
Of course that's where she went...where else would she have gone. She realized the baby was still In her car.
Guilts of 3rd degree felony murder n leaving baby in a car. Not guilty of manslaughter

child she crying for her self 😒
Her fake crying on the stand without a single tear shed told a lot…

Justice for Ariya!

Seems like the so called babysitter didn't want to babysit. She had no business being a babysitter.
Didn’t a California woman do this a few years ago and was never indicted? 🤔 interesting how every state handles these cases different
She got the highest charge possible
No she got the lesser charge of 3rd degree murder. They found her not guilty on the aggravated manslaughter.
How do fiqure that? It's the least charge. Geez
Verdict watch? They shut down live chat😢
How much time is she looking at?
I think 15 years ??
Actually it’s 30 for aggravated manslaughter

@amandap3047 They should make a stipulation that she not be allowed unsupervised around young children after serving her sentence whatever it may be
Is there a verdict ?

Does anyone know what her plea deal offer was?
30 years

I agree as to the prosecuter. How many times does a person have to repeat such horrible accounts that hurt the ones he is "for"? He is a jerk.
She still gets to go home thats different
Justice has nothing to do with emotions. This jury did the job of telling justice
My boyfriend watched this video and now he thinks he's a handyman too. I'm gonna hide my tools😚

Yep guilty of 3rd degree murder I think. Volume was very low.
I hate that it's the lessor charges..

This it wad fits the crime. Do you really think she did this on purpose? What you want the death penalty?

Third-degree felony murder it’s at the very end of the stream the last nine minutes
