That was a very informative video. I saw the Shelby in a DG and left. Thought I didn't have it my basic set so I returned to the store to cop it, and the Mustang TH was there as well. I think that it is cool to have the regular issue and the TH. Thanks!
Thank you for this video. It really helped. I can’t wait to go through a box I have put up at my brothers. I have cars all the way from 1983 to 2010 it’s. Like over 360 cars still in their case that I bought at an old book store.
Thank you for the informative video and yes your explanation (at 3:32) regarding the value of a basic version of a Super TH car not being affected made perfect sense:) All the best.
Nice video. Question: in STH there is a regular version of the same car like you show in your video, but in TH there is also a regular version or only exist the TH with the grey flame logo? Thx!
Hello, tx for the great detailed video. So i went to look at some big grocery shops, and found there to be only HotWheels in 5-10-20 car packs only. It was rather hard to find individually sold HotWheels. So I wonder, do the Treasure or Super TH series only come into the individual packed ones? I went through many that came per 5 cars sets or higher and coudnt fint anything special in between. So therefore the question, is TH or STH cars reserved for individual packaged HotWheels? Thank You.
So I got a car from the super treasure hunt description except the TH logo which is supposed tp be on the roof. It's the VW kafer racer. So there's only one car in the 250 that will have that logo right? The others have no value?
Very informative and thanks for the info. Years ago weren't the tires rubber as well? I rarely look for them anyways but all this time I've been looking for different wheels/tires and TH logo in plain sight. Good to know
Ok the basic treasure hunt has that circle flame on it .is there just 1-single flame on the car or is there multiple flame on it. I know that the super treasure hunt will have TH on both sides of the car
...No, no...thank YOU, carguy4life.... I have been a long time Hot Wheels fan and semi-collector. I had some Hot Wheels when they first came out in the mid to late 1960's. I had...past tense...a Jack Rabbit Special. My modest collection back then weren't in the original cards...they were played with. As I grew older, I placed them in a special box...you know...'For Later'. I came home to visit my Mom and I asked about my box of hot wheels. And my mother says to me; "Oh, I let the grand kids play with them a couple of weeks ago, they were suppose to put them back" As I looked at the empty box, I replied, calmly; "Well...they didn't" I was 'that guy who had trash bags full of comic books" as well. When I came home for another visit, I again asked my mom "Where are my bags of comics, Mom?" "Oh, they were in trash bags so I threw them out." Again, it wasn't the possible $$$ value I was upset about..but just all them comic books...Gone. And honestly..when we kids collected things like Hot Wheels, it wasn't for future selling...it was 'To Have'. If you had a baseball card of a world series winning pitcher...you had it for it..and maybe a little bragging rights. But with my new collection of Hot Wheels, I buy the ones that I like, mostly and I have No Idea what might be a Collectable...I mean, who in 1956 knew that the '57 Chevy was going to be a Classic Car? No one. So who really has a solid idea what 'Is going to be a sought after Hot Wheels?" Not me. HOWEVER...... Thanks to your video...I have an idea about collecting something that maybe valuable in the future.
Golf flame on the card behind the car. And they will finished with a different color. Windshield and window tint will be different and the wheels and rims will different
what about the printed logo of hot wheels on the back wheel?does it mean something or nothing?because you say it clearly and in short terms but i found one car in store but i didnt know how to identify it about rarity.
Finally, a specific difference with examples of STH & TH! Thank you! In our family three small boys (6-6&7), we started this past holiday giving them Hot Wheels. Besides not opening STH & TH, is there any others they should not be opened? Is there any value now or future to the 5 pack? I have over 225 used hot wheels, besides STH & TH should I be on the look out for a gem or just split between the 3 boys? Appreciate you answering these Three questions!
Hey Grace! Sorry for the delayed response. Five packs and nine packs do not usually have cars in them that are worth keeping sacred. In the hot wheels mainline cars (cars you can buy for a dollar) basic treasure hunts and hot wheels supertreasure hunts are the cars you need to keep safe. Sometimes in hot wheels mainline cars you will find one off cars, cars that have Collabs done with certain creators. Like the Tanner Fox Nissan GTR or the Beatles submarine. Sometimes these cars can be worth money later on, but there is no guarantee to have more than a dollar to their name. The hot wheels car culture cars are the cars you can purchase for about five dollars. These cars sometimes will increase overtime but it is not a guarantee. I have seen that hot wheels car culture cars are more valuable when you have the full set of five. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks for stopping by👍🏼👍🏼
@@Sam_Dunn Grace means I am in trouble😎. I subscribed, you answered questions & Thank you. Would you explain what car culture cars are? If 5 boxes are sitting in a warehouse with different letters ( c,b,h,e,a for example) is there a way to tell the year? Does every January start with the letter A?
