In matter of 3 weeks both heads on the engine will start ticking ..😂😂😂 damage is to big to fix . Rebuild motor . Over 30 q50 going to junk jard . For parts . Keep it up wee need bigger junk yard . MAKE SURE YOU CAN UNSCREW FILL PLUG FIRST! I just did mine today. Only had exactly 2.0L drain out. Put 3.4L in and the shifting and behavior is So much smoother! It was a little difficult getting that plastic hose fed through the bottom of the car to the top. I also used a 15/16 3/8 short socket instead of a 15/16 wrench.

Nice Lexus cars i have 04 ls430 UL it had the air ride but it being 20yrs old they were completely shot so i did spring and strut also i repaired the sub woofer instead of replacing it man that was the best decision ever i do want to eventually do the exhaust i want to sound like your 460 hah

Downpipes without a blowoff valve = boost creep = turbo failure .. But 2016 to 2022 turbo already have huge failure rate with many TSB so this will just make it happen sooner.

i considered this car but as a college student, if problems were to arise like replacing the control arms or a valley plate leak, I’d have to give away an equivalent of my 2 grant checks away lol. Opted for a Honda Fit Sport and it’s only major problem is the trunk handle lmao BULLETPROOF

I got my LS460 like 2 months ago. Love it so far. so far yours is giving me the most inspiration . exactly how i want mine besides the lowering part. i live in Jersey City, NJ and we have craters up here lmao. question, where’d you get the spoiler from for the 460?

Is the 460 inferior to the 430 or something? I highly doubt it. We have an '05 LS430 and it doesn't burn oil or have cracks in the seats, or yellowed headlights. Probably the most reliable car we ever owned. Lives outside and isn't pampered at all. Could it just be that you got behind on the maintenance?

Awesome work Sam.... Definitely a nice pick up for a second car.... bulletproof. I think I told you about my cousin's wide body ls430 on aftermarket Air suspension. His car is insane. My cousin had the drain issue also... had something to due with the taillight OEM LED's.

What's up Sam this is the guy with the blue LS460L lowered on trafficstar wheels in Staten Island.... I too had to change the radiator... Did you buy the newer version of the radiator or the same replacement. Toyota change the radiator due to the design flaw (nipple breaking off). I literally watched this video and felt horrible... I hope this doesn't happen on mine.

i have a 05 ES 330. i bought chemical guys “cut” compound and regular wax. the car looks great (did it all by hand) unfortunately i had to use spray wax to get the rest of the wax off. immediately it came to me. (its a 20 year old paint and its oxidizing) Yet you guys are doing a heck of a job. glad your LS 430 paint is coming back to life.

Some coolant residue seeping from my coolant overflow tank also.(not leaking any fluid though) I guess they're all like that after a while. Gonna change that radiator fan shroud / overflow tank assembly(16711-5010) when I got time. Nice video,

I had the K&N on my LS460, after you use the cleaner on them that oil from the cleaner will trigger errors on the MFA. I went back to the Toyota air filters and was good to go. But she's a beauty and was one of my favorite LS's I ever had. Great vid and thanks for sharing
