In the past couple of months I have tried both Hello Fresh and Home Chef. I am really enjoying them.
Which do you prefer more? I personally tend to lean more to Home Chef because it’s more customizable (like being able to double up in meats).
I can just never justify the costs of these meals. I always go to order them and back out at the last minute because I know I can create the same meals at a fraction of the price. If I understood correctly that EveryPlate grilled cheese and tomato soup was 4 servings, meaning $32 for grilled cheese and soup... outrageous! I mean you could go to Panera and let them cook it and clean up for the same price. I appreciated your honesty and thorough preparation in filming this.

This was pretty interesting. I live alone so have never really considered this type of service but can see where it could be adapted. The tendency is for me to skip meals or just snack, so this might be a way to get a better balance of nutrients. Thanks for the comparison. Who knew ramen could look so good!
I like that fact that you can keep you recipe cards and recreate the meals ( for the most part ) yourself if you really like a meal and want to be a little more cost effective by purchasing the ingredients yourself.

I just started everyplate, now I'll have to be on the lookout for the next time the grilled cheese and soup is offered - looks delish! Great tip on the immersion blender. Also FYI that currently the price as of january 2022 is $6.49/serving for everyplate ($29.94 for 6 total servings over 3 meals + $8.99 shipping), and the student discount has slightly changed. It now nets you 60% off your first box, and 20% off your second and third boxes. After those 3 boxes there are no other discounts for students. Great review!

I've been using hello fresh for a while and like to order it about once a month but everytime I open the box, I'm disappointed with the protein portion sizes! Thanks for this video. I have been considering meal boxes, but wasn't sure which one to pick. IDK if this would be something you could do, but I would love to see a review of all of the clothing boxes (Stitch Fix ect.) Just like with the meal kits, there a so many options that are hard to choose from its overwhelming. Thanks Jen!👌

I can't express how happy I am with this video!! I love that you don't do a 20 min intro into your life and dreams and fluff. It was very to the point and VERY informative! I'm 37 and have eatten whatever I liked for...well..37 years.. but sudden high bp has made me question everything. I tried prepping from cookbooks and ...yeah no... sooo many options of meal services for families and your video has narrowed them down dramatically!! New subscriber here! Love what you do and your style! And i think my husband is getting a new knife for his bday 😉

(U would b a great teacher).😍 I have never made homeade tomato soup and now I gotta try pepper Jack cheese on my grilled cheese.... something I need to try.. and..( i forgot i got my meat chopper tool also) and I'm not a fan of raw onions either.. kick it up a notch... I just found out that Hello Fresh and EveryPlate are owned by the same parent company.I feel like Everyplate is a way cheaper way to enjoy these food programs and it's just as enjoyable and you can customize some of the recipes.
We ordered from Gobble recently and loved it. It was super easy and all the meals were great.
I love cooking and live in the middle of nowhere. Costs around $30 just to drive to town and our grocery store has limited variety. I am on my second box of hello fresh and its awesome. Will try these next

Super interesting! Thanks. Out of the four you tried, I have tried Home Chef and Blue Apron. I personally didn't care for them enough to keep ordering, but I LOVE Green Chef! I will get it a couple of times a month, sometimes skipping a month or so. I love their Keto and Paleo meals. The food is super high quality and I love the sauces that usually come with the meals. :)

I've only used Hello Fresh and it was good but my husband can be kind of picky so we stopped getting them. I've been wanting to try Home Chef since I've started watching your channel (maybe 2 years ago or so?). But that meal prep box from Blue Apron was very cool and intriguing! Very well done video!!
I never thought I'd try a meal box service, but I just signed up for Every Plate (using your link of course). I'll try it out for the month of June, and probably will cancel, but I will add 6 recipes to my arsenal, and I need all the help I can get. LOL
I won't do the meal kits but those recipes are easy to recreate! I'll be making some of these. These kits would make a great gift for college students or newlyweds as well.
I make a Mediterranean chicken dish all the time - love it. Rather than the TJ 21 Season Salute, try the Greek seasoning mix from Fresh Jax - it's great. Loved the video. Thank you.
